The first time I heard this back in 1983 I thought it was the scariest thing I'd ever heard. Now....I find it....thought provoking. More original than anything else.
@@someshkadam2441 Yes, if they could make out that vocal. Maldoror was someone who clearly was never about to do the "Monster Mash" or the "Time Warp" again...or at all...
@@guntherdawg Hello Gunther Beagle, thanks fur the replies! I know dawgs hear sounds twice as loud, so I hope no one ever plays dead waking music to you too louds!
@@bobdavis4848 thanks for thats Mr. Bobs! I tries nots to throw sticks in glasshouses abouts teh loud noises, because as Cyndi Laupers once sang, I am partial to biggest barks from times to times!
Current 93 at it's first peak. Lashtal and Dogs blood rising were good. But this was the essence. After this there was no other way to go another way. This is to me the Testament of the 'old' Current 93. DAWN was good, but they never achieve the real sounds again. Change is always good! Therefor is the IMPERIUM LP the very best of Current 93. So far!
This kinda loses its impact from the fact David Tibet kept making this single song over and over. Atleast 10 different release with different versions of Maldoror Is Dead
@@eightcoins4401to be honest theyre the only c93 songs i like, not too keen on the maldoror is ded ded ded one but i totally love all the versions in this style
Listening to this for about the one hundredth time on my 57th birthday. A work of absolute genius.
Hey, I'm turning 60 this year, too! I must remember it to play it on Bastille Day, my birthday, this year!

For years I played this out the window on Halloween. Masterful.
Some people were wondering "Who is Maldoror?" that time.😅

Glad to see that this song matches the energy of The Chants Of Maldoror. Really good!
Capolavoro totale, assoluto, irripetibile.

This is how a father feels when a mother has an abortion. That's what this is about.
I'm not saying it's a pro-life tune, but David Tibet wishes he could raise, Maldoror.
