- This scenic drive starts by heading to Half Moon Bay then along Highway 1 overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Next, we go towards Pescadero that connects to Old La Honda Road in Woodside California. We see many supercars along this route, and they cruise on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We end the drive back near the original starting point.

Thanks! Was there hundred times 😊
Enjoyed your video of the backroads of Half Moon Bay, San Mateo, & Woodside! Spent some time in the late 70s in this area around Foster City! Thank you...
@53:14 is Memorial Park, Best camping in the Bay area. We camped 4 to 6 weeks every summer when we were kids. Little museum, store with Soft serve ice cream and snacks. tons of cool trails.
@41:53 If you make a left turn and down about a block on the left side is a store called Arcangeli Grocery Co. They sell the BEST Artichoke bread! Every time we are in Norcal we go to Arcangeli's.
@1:01:02 is a gate...In 1980 right after seeing Friday the 13th in Redwood City we drove back to the campsite around 9:30 pm. We stopped here because there was a wheel chair sitting in front of the gate. We were weirded out so we didnt get out. Drove about 1/4 mile to Sam Mcdonald park and turned around and went back to the wheelchair so we could ride it down the hill next to Memorial park, It was gone, no one passed us and there weren't any homes around. Freaky!
