I have an upcoming exam and your videos are life saving, doctor, they help me alot! That being said, I'm kind of confused.. when we say a myopic person is -4 does the minus refer to their glasses? 'cuz isn't their eye power supposed to be +4? And same thing with hypermetropia but the opposite.... please explain it to me if you may, thanks in advance.

Thanks for your kind words. When you say a myopic eye with minus 4 power, you are talking about the glasses power indeed and yes it’s a powerful eye by +4 diopters.

السلام عليكم دكتور
لدي سؤال ال pre fovea اكثر تحسس للون الازرق باليل لكن كيف استطيع رؤيته بوضوح وهو يقع امام الشبكيه وفي القصر نرى القريب واضح فقط والبعيد مغوش وماالعلاقه بينه وبين قصر النظر الليل ان رأيت لون اوضح من لون ذلك لا يؤثر على جوده الصوره بالليل مثل ال Spherical Abbaratoinارجو الاجابه وشكرا

Thanks a lot for your words. Myopia can cause exophoria or exotropia. High myopia can also cause the apparent (pseudo) esotropia.
