Yea Pau broke the stick and picked another one without missing a beat. Such a pro. Love the fact Ale starts it on the piano. Here Dany says music is passion, music is hope, music is life. So you'll see some Dany fanboys and fangirls like myself will sometimes comment Dany is passion, Dany is hope, Dany is life. It comes from this show haha. Great song and great reaction. If you are still doing reactions in appreciation of individual band members and you want a recommendation for Dany, fans love her rendition of Break in from Halestorm. All the best :)

      @Nightfighter82 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

YES Dany is all of those. Dany is so full of life, so full of passion and energy it just pops off the screen anytime she does a Dany Day. There's no pretense there's no fakeness. It's not some PR company making her image. She's getting even more and more confident in that when she's on stage as they got back into perform. I keep saying this, but The Warning really navigated the Pandemic the best of any band that I know of. It's because they were unsigned and didn't have to run everything through a publicist and a label that wants money off everything. And it seems the new label gets what they are and what they have for the future. 3 amazing young ladies that know how to connect with fans on a real level, after all the fans supported their first 2 albums and likely the start of their 3rd (?) while also supporting their North American Tour 3 times what was asked before the label got involved. I also love how they still make time, when the can of course, to do the Dany, Pau, and Ale Day's. Or when they can't Pau will still live stream from the drums at times. It's just amazing. That and Dany and Pau are really growing into beautiful young women, but they aren't up there half naked throwing their sexuality around. They are keeping true to how their parents raised them and its not about rebelling. Hell Ale could be a model now if she wanted to be.

Pau regularly breaks drumsticks. When they do live shows the damaged sticks are often passed out to the audience as souvemirs.I like just before Dany starts headbanging, when she looks around at the audience with a big grin on her face. They had no idea what was coming.

Slightly different vibe to Black Holes. huh? What other band would transition from Broadway Musical, to Pop Rock, to Hard Rock, to Metal all in one song. You can see why they closed so many of their shows with this epic song over the years.

This song has the "Slap in the face" effect. In a good way, you don't know what just hit you but you want another one, it gets your adrenaline pumping. About the stick. That was a clear demonstration why she is still called The Shredder.

Aren't they just fabulous? This video is great to show how far they had come to-date, and as something of a preview where they were headed and their potential. These three young ladies are much beloved by their fan base, and for good reason. You've got so much to see and hear yet, it is going to be fun to watch you experience it. I can't wait!

At 1:45 Pau stick broke. A piece landed on a symbol.
Then Pau continued to used that stick until the appropriate time she can reach down to retrieve a new stick.
At 2:16 Pau hit that symbol with the broke piece of the stick & it went flying.
It's hard to see since The Warning video is small

Great reaction! Here is the explanation on Pau and the drum stick. Early on in the song she shattered the drum stick. Part of it flew off and landed on one of her cymbals. She never missed a beat and kept playing. When she had the chance she dropped the broken stick and grabbed a new one. Later on if you pay close attention you will see her hit that cymbal and the piece of drum stick flies off. Because she hits soooo hard (and this was the 3rd song they played) that stick didn't have a chance!!! She has had a lot of practice switching out broken drum sticks! 🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡

You can see why this song has hooked so many of us TWA. Their harmonies are on point and so well timed, and its just one of the many little things they do to give a full sound. you hear a piano in some parts that Pau programed on to a click track which now she has on Appleton 10(maybe 11 now?) at that time was just on her Iphone. At more recent performances you can see they still have a blast playing this song and they used it to finish their shows.

Some poor roadie then has to pick them up and arrange them neatly behind her. Don't remember which one it is off the top of my head.

Great song. This was their End of Show song for long time
I’m sure that you’ve heard this already but anyhow. Their second album QOTMS is a rock musical that follows a character in 13 songs. Well actually the first song D2D is the prologue to the story… and it’s is after the story has played out a moment where you are asked to follow on the journey to come. My suggestion is that you listen to the album in order following it unfold and uses the Lunario CDMX footage as it was there they played the full album for the first time.

To really understand this band, react to the whole (or just watch for yourself and tell us about it) TEDx 2016 and 2017. They really discuss their passion for music, for being independent (at the time), and their love and appreciation of the fans that were helping supporting them. Such maturity at such a young age. Amazing young women.
Just an FYI, some reactors pause the videos in the middle and say a little, then start it up again. Supposedly it helps reduce the copyright problem.

Still my favorite song by The Warning, hands down, which says a lot. There are a lot of competitors for second place, but this is still unchallenged at the top. I'm not about to bet against DPA finding a way to replace it, though; betting against them on anything music-related is a losing proposition. At least one of my all time favorites by anyone. I'm not sure which version I first saw, but I don't think it was this one (it might have been the soundtrack for the trip to NJ, which I call the Survive video).
The Broadway start is a real hook. Pau animates it a lot more now and of course her voice is different. They do it with a light guitar and bass intro when they don't have a keyboard for a particular show; I prefer the piano intro. The coda reminds me of the ending of a lot of Beethoven overtures and in particular the 5th symphony, a wild, euphoric rush to the finish. Plenty of other bands have anthems with a long coda like that, but they tend to let it drag on too long (Hey Jude, Free Bird) or don't execute it as well.
They often use Dust to Dust as the set opener and this as the closer, so Ale gets the first and last word.
If it weren't for the fact that indie bands are largely ignored, I think this would have topped the charts in rock and dance. It's that kind of song.
Finally, if you're going to do Queen of the Murder Scene, I suggest doing it in order, as it tells a story. A lot of reviewers do it that way, and it makes for an interesting journey. Most TWA members suggest either the Lunario or Foro Didi show for that purpose. The Lunario show was the premiere and as such the reference performance, but the Foro Didi show may have better audio and video. One thing about the Foro Didi show is that for some reason they did the last chapter out of order (Hunter, The End, two other songs including this, and then P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C.; it should be P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C., Hunter, and The End); I don't know why they did them out of sequence.

At around 6:47 you can see the stick break and the tip land on the cymbal. Also for the Queen Of The Murder Scene album, since it is a concept album consisting of a prologue song, with 4 chapters of 3 songs, which tells a continuous story, I would recommend listening to the album in order from start to finish, song by song. The live performances from Lunario CMDX of the release show that includes all the songs, is on their official TH-cam channel.

I can place a personal check by all of your statements here. 64 in July myself. Besides all of their amazing chops and creativity, I admire their conviction to not put out a piece of music until it's right. I don't hear much fluff here. It's all very intentional and driven by strong passion. The kind of things I also never heard/hear from players like Steven Wilson and the Rush guys. It's probably unhealthy how much I'm enthralled by this band.
