Does anybody knows what happened to brandtner & Christian, their there one minute & the next minute they both disappeared like a fart in a wind tunnel, I’m really disappointed that either brandtner & bock didn’t get a better send off than what they did, they both deserve better than that!

well, on if you look here en. wikipedia. org /wiki/List_of_Inspector_Rex_episodes at the end of season 7 there is something there...but...the way it is written makes it look very doubtful, though it would make sense for it to exist. Also I do not remember where I have read this, but I think Brandtner dies in an explosion.

And it is said since first Kommissar Richard Moser died ( Tobias Morretti left the show) the Numbers of viewers went rapidly down. For me complete unexplainable. Alex Brandtner( Gideon Burkhard) was the best Kommissar on the show he had the best conction to Rex . And Böck ( Heinz Weixelbraun, he left the show same time as Gideon to go back to Theather acting). Both Disapearances were never explaned or mentiond in the show. :( they just renewed the show with other actor. Big Mistake!!!
I agree with you. For me Alex and Rex are the best! I really like to watch the show with others komissars, but Alex and Rex had a really conection. I cannot get why Gideon had a bad critics :(
Where is ALEX BRANDNER and BUCK/BOCK?! I find it really strange and bad that we now (from season 8) do NOT know what the reason is why ALEX BRANDNER and BUCK/BOCK are NOT playing any more in this crimi serie! This is very weird and is not realistic in this entire crimi storie!

Ich fins blöd dass die letzte Folge mit Gedeon Burkhard so war wie alle anderen. Es macht keinen Sinn das er jetzt einfach weg ist

Die Besetzung wurde mit dem Ende der 7. Staffel abgeändert, in der Serie wurde dies aber nicht erwähnt.
Warum macht man nicht eine anständige Abschlußfolge wo Alexs und Böck gehen. Enttäuscht.
