copy large files using NTFS drive, lot of people are still not sure about this, so thought of making a video which may help to some noobs.

how to fix infinte loading screen when i go to pvd_usb000
So if I add a 5tb hard drive with NTFS format, the PS3 won't be able to read it?😊

If it says somthing about a config file enable standard CFW mode in the firstsection of multiman(not MMOs) and after that scam your drive with the pts option then your drive should be there (not sure if I explained well)

I'm not sure but I think I had a problem like this, maybe (I THINK) it was because my hard drive had a lot of other things so probably it would take a eternity to the multiman explorer to read it, what I did was creating a "PS3ISO" folder with the ISO game in it
maybe their sizes are too big ?

I clicks the MMOS, the multiman start and tried the PFS driver. It said something about having no NTFS driver. I did format my USB into an NTFS but nothing. Reason?

If you already copied the USB.CFG file and selecting "PFS Driver" from Multiman start menu doesn't help and you only get the loading icon, do this:
1. Go to the view with multiMAN with the house icon on the top left.
2. Choose "Switch to CFW mode.
3. MM will refresh and then go to the start menu and choose "PFS Driver".
4. Browse to your external HDD and it will work.
for some reason mine says current configuration is not supported.please help!!

I prefer FTP with filezilla for transferring files over 4gb wirelessly from pc to ps3 without any USB.

try usb001, whas the error u are getting, did u toggle between 32 and NTFS and scanned the device on multiman menu ?
yeah i did then i tryed ub000 dont woked i tryed same thing but folder usb.001 but just loading nothing else not even a error

i tried to open ntfs driver and got this:
NTFS HDD auto detection failed
Please create a proper USB.CFG file with vendor/device descriptors and save it as : /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR.CFG
So what should I do?
Loading takes forever how to solve that?
if u have the usb.cfg problem then choose "switch to mmCM mode" under multiman tab. then select PFS driver and then refresh. go to file manager and select pvd_usb000 and ur files should show up.
I already did that but loading was still taking too long. But I fixed that with other way

Did you find it? The places I get most of mine from are:
downloadgamesps3
Gametorrents
psndl
NoPayStation
There are a few games I can't find between those 4 places, but about 95% of the ones I've tried to get have been found on one of those 4 places. Actually downloadgamesps3 is where about 90% of my games come from. With NoPayStation getting about 8% with psndl and gametorrents getting about 1% each. I use downloadgamesps3 for downloading disc based games and NoPayStation for my PSN downloads.

Then try opening the other Pvd_usb001 .. it should work for sure.

I can't get it to work in root, but it works perfectly in showtime (where you can't do anything), I can't copy my games into the internal hard drive in showtime, pvd001 shows but when I enter it, it's starts loading forever whithout stop, how can I fix this? Thank you

I just upgraded to Rebug 4.75.1 and lost the ability to browse NTFS drives.
I can play NTFS iso but not browse the drives...the circle just keeps spinning.
On Roger 4.55 I was fine.
Hopefully Multiman fixes.

What if multiman is not installed, will still be able to get my 256 gb flash drive be read if I don't quick format it to ntfs?
Without multiman or another cfw OS, you are limited to fat32

People on cobra switch to cw then click on pfs then go to showtime and ntfs storage and copy your games to ps3 hdd in GAMES

Yeah but if you have to move them to the internal, doesn't that defeat the purpose of using an external drive? You may as well just split the files and have some files on external and some on internal. If you have to install completely on internal, it defeats the purpose in my eyes. You may as well stay fat32

You can play, just install ISO version to drive. Please Google and you ca easily find this! Go with WEBman and you will find a smooth play!! All the best

Yes, press the same again. its just toggle between FAT32 and NTFS

am using cfw spy 4.80 cobra can it read ntfs too?
PFS driver wont show up for some ppl coz of cobra enabled, so u should choose "switch to mmCM mode" first

For those struggling with the USB.CFG file you need to create it using notepad and the vendor/product ID of your HDD
