I am so sorry for your GoPro! Good that these days we all have at least phones and other cameras with us. In eg. 1990s you would probably have lost your only video camera and that would have been the end of documenting your trip. That viking cemetery was nice. On last summer trip we "accidentally" found a similar place in Skåne, Sweden: Vätteryds gravfält. It will actually be in our next video and our arriving to Denmark too :) Watch it if you have interest and spare time. I will put English subtitles.
Yes, you're absolutely right! We use one of our phones regularly together with a DJI gimbal, which works quite well. But the GoPro is such a great little device, the stabilization especially is unmatched. And it's so versatile too, like attached to the camper (suction cup mount) and when I am mountain biking (chest mount). And I made some great timelapses also. So, this week we bought the GoPro Hero11 creator edition so we will also be filming with a GoPro in the future again :-)
Thank you! It was not fun at all but what can you do? We bought a new one for Black friday so any new adventures will have GoPro footage again but we had to film Germany without unfortunately.
