I think it would be cool to add a "shields" mechanic to these videos. Food items still recover health, but the shields prevent injury unless they collapse from excessive damage. As for restoring the shields . . . maybe they regenerate on their own, or maybe you can add a new "item" to recharge them. Perhaps a shield generator could be an item itself!
