    I really enjoyed your review. Just brought a pair myself. Can't wait to install them.

    I have very similar LED's on my 80 series. Never knew the housing was adjustable I'll have to check if the one I have can do that as well because they definitely need it. I just used some double side foam tape for the "ballasts" and it works really well at getting them out of the way neatly.

      Yeah the adjustability is key for our reflector housings.

    Ur definitely getting ur money’s worth with Y13. And it depends on ur reflector style headlights.
    And I’m surprise again, how it retains better. A hair taller. And it has a string or antenna style that sticks out of the beam pattern.
    But it’s not horrible.
    I can see how halogen is trying to to do that.
    But man they look sharp.
    People always say. Led bulbs do not belong to projector or reflector.
    I said, yes they do. Nowadays they use automatic oem grade led chips they use.
    Like those have LMP led chips. And it works well.
    Fun fact. Car light review tested them.
    Public spec is 40W per bulb
    Observation is actually 27.7W per bulb.
    After 27 minute of run time, which is average commuter time in the us, they get cooled 121 degrees Fahrenheit for the main unit, and 153 degrees for the external driver. And
    The brightness retains very impressive 89% of the led light output.
    And please understand this.
    Do not believe this 10,000-35,000 lumens. It’s a lie.
    U actually get 4437 lumens per bulb. Thanks to bulbfacts. Those are real lumens results.

      I have Auxito in all my cars and still working great. Our 4 runner gets used the most, probably about 6,000 miles since install and no issues.

    Dude I can’t adjust these, can you advise? I bought them cause of this video

      Hmm I explain it around the 4 minute mark. Should be an adjustment screw.

    Thank you for your video. So I got these 9006/HB4 for my 2000 LC 100 series. Sure enough once I place them in position and turn to lock them in position, the LED turns slightly and the light spreads. So I tried adjusting the locking ring by loosening the small screw with the L-shaped tool included in the box, just like you showed in your video. The problem is once I turn it even slightly, the screw is no longer aligned to the hole that it screws into, which is in the base, so I can't tighten the screw anymore. How did you get around this? Or am I missing something?

    • @rywanders
      @rywanders  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Looks like you may have gotten a version that’s not fully adjustable (I.e. only rotates 180 degrees) you could however adjust them like you did then place some silicone around the base that should hold it.

      @@berhaneb1 absolutely. If you can’t get it set try the 3M weather strip adhesive. Stuff has worked great on other projects.

    How do these affect the daytime running lights that are on all the time? Does everything still work as it should?

    • @rywanders
      @rywanders  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah everything works. These are your standard beams. The high beams and DRL are linked together and I haven’t changed them.

    • @Surf940

      And I’m supposed to keep that hexagonal crown that covers the light as well? Looks like they are also on the directional bulb housings?

    Can’t find the 9006/HB4…

      @@rywanders can you guide me which connector shall I used for my high beam on LC100 2006? Is it same 9006/HB4 for high beam?

    • @rywanders
      @rywanders  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it’s a 9005/hb3 bulb. From what I know the led replacement won’t work as they don’t have the dual function for DRL and high beam.
