How does the spike effect work, I'm curious. The mechanics is really wonky and I can't figure out why some enemies survive after the effect takes place (talking about the second type here mostly) Two different types are used here. 1. The first one in which starts when a spiked character gets attacked. 2. The second one in which starts when a spiked character dies.

My best guess that it multiplies its damage taken and sends it back to the enemy
