A new D&D show with Anna & Nate?...Yeah, I couldn't click "Subscribe" fast enough! :D A homebrew Underdark sounds pretty interesting. It'll be cool to explore and learn about. If I'm not able to catch the livestreams of these episodes going forward, I'll definitely keep up with the vids/vods. :) I love the comparison at the end for how every group member could be the protagonist of their own genre, but they're all here together instead, and we get to see how that unfolds. I realize that, yes, it'd be blatant fanservice, but since this is a future Underdark setting, and we don't NECESSARILY know the fates of any character from any campaign/show 100%, it'd technically be possible to have Luna-or any of the party members really-find and be inspired/misled after unearthing discarded relics such as...(Sorry/not sorry but a huge fan of DCA)...edgelord lyrics from a presumably drunk-at-the-time Paultin, a diary exert from Evelyn that spouts super flowery rhetoric about the inherent light in people that one should ALWAYS encourage and cherish, frantic ravings from Strix about how knowing magic and protecting the friends you have obviously go hand in hand, stressed musings from Diath about how simply having the best intentions can go horribly awry or how being the only grounded person in a group of...UNIQUE individuals...can be headache-inducing, etc. Heck, depending on how long-lived some races/characters are or how much magical/timey-wimey stuff you wanna draw from, you could have guest/recurring appearances...or at least people who knew them (in)directly and could talk about them with disgust, reverence, or somewhere in-between in a way that makes them seem like a caricature of who they really were/are. .......Sorry for the rambling-just super excited for a new quality campaign to follow. ^^; I wish nothing but the best for all those involved. :D
Love what you had to say about them being protagonists of their own genre! ...and if we know Nate, I feel like we can count on some kind of Paultin insert at SOME point. ;)
Aw yis. Most excited for this.
