Nope, 13 is also very good. A standalone camera just does half thing, you need to add a few more things to get better footage. Like ND filters, external apps to control settings and if possible some extra light.
I hv v40 pro. One observation from my side- in selfie , pics are coming darker & dull as if it was clicked in a low light even when light is sufficient. It is not showing the actual complexion of a person. Why so? Previously i had reno series, it used to give excellent selfies. Anything wrong in my settings?

Keep some distance between parson and back ground. During day choose a tree in the back so that light will filter through tree leaves. Use some light like building etc in night time to get nice bokeh
I bought it 2 months back my mother is using iphone 13 TH-camrs were saying its camera is better than iphone but its not like that😢 iPhone camera is better than this the portrait mode is good in vivo but overall the camera in iphone is very good especially in vivid mode. The software is crap

Try and shoot in natural mode and adjust colour in effect master and see if you get better results.
