I was getting ready to post this same thing until I read your post. He pulled the signs then pulls the alarm and immediately walks off without even checking the door to see if it was unlocked. Our law enforcement is so dump in incompetent to not see that and prosecute this guy.

This Bowman character did commit a misdemeanor. If anyone did this the fine and punishment would be the same. Let's get off the judicial portion of this. What he did as a member of the government has far reaching implications. He should have been censured at least and expelled from the chamber. He does not belong there. If the average "Joe" pulled this stunt, they would get the same sentence BUT rest assured, their employer would most likely fire them for moral turpitude.
