Low rapper Dami can hit some high notes; and also when Siyeon, whose job are those F5 belts, gets cozy and relaxed in lives her speaking voice goes so deep with a touch of rasp and the sound of Cozy Siyeon is a singular experience. The D in Dreamcatcher is for duality.
@alexatakesalook I always thought I wasn't much for EDM but then Dreamcatcher came for the club and now I have 2 EDM songs on my playlist; because they're that good at whatever they decide to do. The piano ballad part of Deja Vu worked on you, keep Dear (written by JiU) or Heart of Sunflower in your back pocket when you want to slow things down. Poison Love is a self-made m/v where they welcomed back Handong from her year away by making her the star. Sahara and Break the Wall are other self-mades while Handong was gone.
Yesss you saw the Shatter stage, I love this stage it turned out so beautiful. It felt like I was watching a theatrical play. If you pay a closer look at the choreo it looks like the Dreamies incorporated snake like movements 8:38 - (Shatter is based on Medusa). Just wanted to time stamp this scene it looked so beautiful 10:38 (Siyeon looks amazing and acted out those movements so well). And miss Lee Gahyeon she looks so gorgeous. SuAs and Gahyeon mix voices 10:01 (this is my first time really listening to Shatter as well) OMG that sounded like heaven. Makes me wonder if we will get more overtone/ harmonies like that in future DC songs which is so cool to see them evolve and develop their sound.
The other goddess is "Nephthys", an egyptian diety associated with death and decay as well as often depicted as barren and with a vultures head - a clear contrast to Venus/Aphrodite

I definitely understand dancing to rave/ edm music when cleaning, I also loved electro music back then. And We Are Young brought so many great memories, it’s such a great dancey dance song. 17:27 And YESSS on Damis falsetto voice (I don’t know if it’s falsetto either 😅), she sounds so pretty it’s like ear candy. I'm not sure how you're doing your DC journey and if you'll save stuff like this for last but here are a couple vocal Dami moments that you might find pleasing and very surprising: "Shadow", an ost with her and Siyeon. I recommend the slow ver. lyric video and her cover of "Rockabye".

Handong is the only member with a very resonant voice and this album does REALLY well at contrasting her with the tonality of other members. 💪❤

I'm not much for ballads, but I can still appreciate the vocal talent required to sing them! Plus I love these ladies
