I am truly grateful for your video. I have started studying for the CISA and I too wanted to self study using the manual and the Questions/Answers booklet, but I soon noticed that I may need to actually take the approach of virtual review training that ISACA offers because the manual has been a challenge for me to study. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and different tips on how to study and ace the exam.
I'm glad I ran into your video. I'm just at the beginning stage of studying. This gives me any idea of how I should proceed. Thanks for sharing your experience.
@afrogirldiaries Thankyou for this insightful explanations. Please, are there any requirements or prerequisites to take the exams like having prior professional experience ?
Thanks so much Belinda for the video. You articulated the process so well. I found it very useful. Lovely to see such videos that promotes a woman’s intelligence. Keep going for it, you are an inspiration to the young generation 😊
You convinced me to give this a go! I want to do this next year! Did you use ebook material or opted to buy print material? I am thinking about getting printed books.
Hi Phillip, thanks for watching and all the best with your journey. I used print material. It’s down to your preferences as of course with print you have to carry around the book(s)
@@afrogirldiaries girl I am going print for portability rather than always tethered to a screen to study. I did my acca with print books! Thank you queen for responding! Appreciate it.
Hi Darren, best bet would be to check what others are saying online. I have no clue what the big changes are. I doubt too much has changed in terms of tech concepts but maybe the syllabus may have changed?
Thank you for sharing this insight really! I feel I owe it to you to tell you to stake hex for retirement. Not many people know about hex or the mainnet launch of pulsechain.
Which CISA study guide did you use, I see there are a few out there? Also, the questions, answers and explanations book is this the same as the ones they have on CISA website?
Hi there, no you do not need a background in IT. You'll just need to go through the study manual with a fine tooth comb and practise more - essentially put in more effort.
Hi Linda, feel free to email questions and I will cover them in my next Q&A. Regarding your query, CISA is a global qualification that is recognised in the Uk too
Just want to add. You might think you know everything because you currently work in it, but you might not understand the way ISACA looks at it. Many organizations don't do project management, change management, ect like they should.
Hi Chioma, thanks for watching. It took me 6 months to prep (1 month per chapter and 6th month to revise). Caveat is I work 5 days a week so only got to study over weekends.
I had exam today and failed. I work 2 years in internal IT audit international bank and have 10+ years experience in IT and cybersecurity systems and have cybersecurity postrgraduade. Also have multiple IT certificates and this is first one I didn't pass, and actualy do nat know why. For me CISA scoring system is unfair. Whats is BEST, MOSTE etc. in ISACA opinion. In real scenario all given options are inmportant and placed in raport. This is unfair and I think ISACA found the way to earn more money when people faild to pass exam and do not know why. Really bed filling about my exam.
Bazej, I know how you feel! I had taken the ISACA CISA Exam a few days ago, and failed also. I will continue to study again and I will take this a second time. 06dec24
Hi Belinda, thanks for the insights you share with us, they're really helpful. I just wanted to ask you, can you recommend a uni student to pursue ISACA certs especially CISA?
Thank you for the video. I have some doubts 1. Does each question carries same marks?( 1 mark each ?) 2. How many questions out of 150 should be correct to pass the exam? Is it 105 -110 (70% - 75% ) ?
Hi Belinda .. you are just outstanding. I came across your video and I must say I like your spirit and energy. I am now starting off joining the Cybersecurity workforce and after watching you video I am motivated to take the CISA but my challenges is requirement I will need to fulfill after taken and passing the exams. Any advise ??
Hi KGA thanks for watching. Check out my next video coming out next week where I will discuss the CISA practical experience requirement. You'll be surprised it's not as stringent as you would expect.
Hi Belinda! Sorry my question is not related to this video. If I completed ACCA in my home country (Zimbabwe) and I move to UK can I apply for a graduate scheme or are there other options in the big companies.

Hi Belinda,
Thanks for sharing this info. Is there any key differences in content between the 26th edition and 27th?

Can I have your study materials….?
How long did it take you to prepare for it? I’m a graduate of cybersecurity (2023) and I want to prepare and write this exam
I really want to know it, too.
Did you get any feedback?
I am reviewing for the 2016 11th edition of their material. Just wondering if there was a big update compared to the last versions 😅
Oh I guess 2016 was the 26th edition?

thought there are 7 domains?
Hi Bella, the domains are listed on the ISACA website
Please share part1 link

Hi Melchizedek, thanks for watching. Look out for my next Q&A video where I will address your question
Can you coach Me Belinda? Please
So I should do fine with just studying the CISA review manual, 27th edition, and maybe do some practice tests?
Hi John, yes study manual plus Q&A book. Those are the fundamentals. Can't stress enough how important it is to do mock tests
Thank you for the video. I have some doubts
