Use a non glare glass or Plexi glass in all art work so glare doesn't happen also Plexi is easily cut for any frame.. Liked first work better missing the extra be it more pattern or beading but it's your usually gifted stuff/ results I miss in new piece seems unfinished😮😢
I love both looks. I prefer the original look. I’m thinking about trying the second look using several shades of brown & beige. Thank you so much for sharing your inspiring creativity.
6/27)23 Hello Katia.. I Luv All ur decor. But! The first was definitely better. The new one needs some pop of color added to it. Or U could just take the other Art out of the glass enclosure and place them on canvases without the glass. The new ones are too plain. Be blessed 🙏🏽💜 add something to it.
I absolutely LOVE the canvases! Very nice change. I would also like to see you change up your shelves. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks, Katia, as always, for the inspiration!
I love, love, love your style. On these however, maybe add some simple design with another color, maybe a little black to tie in with your pillows. Just some contrast so they would pop a little more. The room is beautiful.❤
I might use two different shades of that drop cloth if they have it. Like the one shade you have and then a bit darker of a shade and use a few patches of the darker shade mixed in?
I love all your idea, however I liked the original artwork. I would of probably just removed the glass on the original to solve the reflection problem. Love your style
This is a great diy, but super plain! I liked the 1st artwork a lot better because it was more interesting! If you took the 1st pieces out of the glass, you may have enjoyed them
Queen your outfit, your hair (the ponies) and your jewelry is Heaven!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair like this!!! SO adorb. YOUR vibe needs to be mentioned bc for me your videos are sheer joy. Your energy and happy vibes are infectious. I loved the DIY. I totally know what you meant about "the glare" bc glass reflects every single thing in the room. I truly agree with you.....the before artwork is gorgeous and tribal feeling....but the new pieces minus the reflection are so soothing and neutral and textural. I LOVE THEM and I love your dining area. Perfection!!!!
Hello Katia..I always love all the art decors U r creating, but (please dont be mad or sad) this time I feel someting is missing in this wall art, maybe some wooden beads or seashells..it looks to minimalistic but it is only my opinion, it doesnt mean U have to run now and rechange it cause it looks nice anyway.. Have a nice day ❤❤❤❤
Your style just blows me away! ❤️❤️ I just wonder how you look so put together when working on a project. I’m so careful, I wear old clothes when doing projects, and I still end up with glue and paint in my bra!
Yes, darling design is beautiful I aspire to have your living room your whole house design aesthetic. I love the new artwork always love the old artwork as well are you by any chance going to sell the old artwork Would be very interested in buying it
You understand balance, scale, movement, texture and color. Not only are you a talented artist and fashionista, I thoroughly enjoy your production skills; filming, editing, and music. Plus your interesting to listen to! Regarding your new creations, the lighter colors brighten and lift that wall area, and you've successfully eliminated the light reflection problem. It has a more clean modern look, rather then ethnic vibe. The eyes can now focus on the center of the room while the wall art contributes calm subtle interest. Beautiful!! You've inspired me to nurture my own artistic skills. I'd like to incorporate your techniques but integrating it into my French Provincial decor will be challenging. I'm thinking Picasso style artwork composed with the neutral colors and media you use could update my interiors without being too bold. Crazy, huh?
Thou the pieces are very neutral, you really are able to see the texture in the material. Your eyes continue to travel throughout the piece because one is looking for slight variations in the texture!!! Very interesting and I don't totally understand why it works, and yet it does!!! Love it!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
You are to be commended for trying so many new things in your videos. How creative to glue layers of fabric to your canvas. May I ask what the slightly darker spots are in the finished piece?Had some of the glue not dried completely at time of photo?
I preferred the original art you had up! The only thing I would have done was perhaps remove the glass. You have a unique esthetic which I like. Your eye for composition and your ability to see things through a different lens is genius at times. Good luck with the wall. Keep on doing you.
I love this idea. What I’d do differently is soak pieces of the cloth in tea, making some of the cloth darker for more contrast. Keep these ideas coming!
This was done very nicely. Not too overbearing but subtle. I would've considered a clear matte polyurethane in light brush strokes in order to preserve the fabric from dust and dirt.
Hello my friend 🤗🌹❤️ I think it would be better if instead of using one color of fabric, you used several colors close to each other such as cream, brown and beige, or if you used different seashells on the same cloth you used, it could give a better effect to your work ❤️🌹
I understand it totally. Mayday without the glass the other wall art looks better. But I also think that the new ones bring peace to the room. Please tell me what is modpodge? Is it a glue? Living in the Netherlands and there is no modpodge over here and trying to find out what to buy instead.
Hello. New to your channel. Have enjoyed binging on some of your videos this morning as I was searching for new inspo. Your creativity is amazing! Especially love the wall art you made on this one. Could you tell me where I can buy a canvas in this size?
Thank you so much!! 🙏💕 Welcome to the family!! I got mine at an art supplier store called "Deserres" ... I've also seen some at Homesense... that's if you live in Canada.... hope it helps.... Happy Holidays!! 🥂☃️🤗💫💕
I love it❣️ I think I understand your thought process with this, the other artwork was beautiful, but you didn’t want the wall to be that busy and always catch your eye because you have a lot of other textures going on so you wanted that wall to be just kind of a nod to the rest of the decorating, without in your face pattern. You would know best because you’re in the room every day. It looks beautiful. You did a great job.❤️
@@KatiaNikolajew 🥰so nice to see a reply from you. You are Awesome❣️I so look forward to and appreciate everything on your channel. You are very motivating. Good Health to You❤️
I think it needed a little something…a little bland so maybe add some beads or contrast to it or texture to it? Still beautiful just needed a little umph…
This artwork is good. I liked the first art work more as I think it went well with the decor and colour scheme
Me too. I like them both, but the first better.

I think the before looks fabulous!!!! Katia, Just take the glass out. Cheers from this Aussie Glenda fan 🫶🏻👋🏻
Absolutely love your new wall art - its minimalist style actually lightens up your whole dining area - your creativity never ceases to amaze me
I absolutely LOVE the canvases! Very nice change.
I would also like to see you change up your shelves. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks, Katia, as always, for the inspiration!
Love the new artwork! I actually love before and after. I like the way you change your decor. Yes on the shelf video. 😊
I love this. Thank you, I’m making one for my daughter’s room. It’s beautiful!
I would like to be honest that previous art i prefer more. But its my taste. I like your style and some ideas really brilliant.
You look beautiful !!!! I love the diys like always super talented ❤👌👍👍👍👍👍🤗
I love, love, love your style. On these however, maybe add some simple design with another color, maybe a little black to tie in with your pillows. Just some contrast so they would pop a little more. The room is beautiful.❤
I just received the palm leaf mini broom. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Fits great with my decor. Thank you! ❤

Great idea and just what I am looking for...simple beautiful art.
I love all your idea, however I liked the original artwork. I would of probably just removed the glass on the original to solve the reflection problem.
Love your style
I like your new art! I like the simplicity and neutral palette that lets the rest of your cool decor shine.
Great job! It's looks good, and yes, I am very interested in seeing the shelves my favorite..
This is a great diy, but super plain! I liked the 1st artwork a lot better because it was more interesting! If you took the 1st pieces out of the glass, you may have enjoyed them

Your DIY art is fantastic! I think I will steal your idea🙂😍❣❣❣
Yessss!! You definitely should!!! 🙌😘😘😘😘

I like the second art piece So calming......

I really like the new art, why not further embellish the canvas? Maybe with shells or thick jute?
Love your style!! Personally, I loved the before artwork. The new is cool but I liked the 3 before more. 👍
I love this idea. What I’d do differently is soak pieces of the cloth in tea, making some of the cloth darker for more contrast.
Keep these ideas coming!
Yesss, that's such a great idea👌 I will definitely keep that for a future DIY!! Thank you so much!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘

Me encantó!!!
So GOOD!!❤
Yaaasss, very nice! I can see what you mean. The minimalist art looks better. First set was a little busy for the look of the room.
Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad you liked it!!!! 🙏🌻🦋💫😘🤗💕💋💋💋
@@KatiaNikolajew Yw, thanks for sharing🤗💕
I love everything you do. Maybe you could add some stitches or beads. Not a lot but I think it is missing something. Maybe the stitches.
Very nice, Katia. Although I like the first set of pictures very much, it looks much less cluttered and fussy now 💐😍✂️🎨🤍
Beautiful 🤩😍
Also where are the dark expresso bowls on the table from? ❤❤❤❤
Love it 😍

I love your style too - however I'd like you to do a lot more shades and texture on that wall art! Put more braid, fabric and grasses on it?!?! :)
Love this! 🔥
You're the best!
What did you glue the linen fabric to?
Love it ❤
Entendi sua proposta...mas eu sou apaixonada pelos quadros anteriores 😢
So clever!
Love the way it came out!! The other wall art are also beautiful but I see what u said about the glare ❤
It's too minimalist for me. I adore your three former pieces. I would just take the glass of to avoid the glare.
Your pictures turned beautiful 😍

I agree I like the before art work, maybe add a color clay disk with a design of some sort. Just a thought, LOVE LOVE YA
It looks nice. I like it😊❤

Like adding in more dimension by squishing up the cloth used or something because it's too bland😮 than normal beads, threads, texture, it's missing 😢
❤awesome always
Beautiful ❤
Unique 👍🏾
Gostei da 2° opção mas gostava mais da primeira.
🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Yes do post your revamping
❤❤❤❤
Wow it looks easy !! But its not haha i love it
Très jolie.
Waaaou it's look like polynesian tapa
❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🏿
I have no idea what's going on, I can't see that small! It's looking good though 💁♀️🌻
❤
Needs something always love what you do but thIs one needs more
🥰
You can decorate my place anytime. 🤩
I just remove the glass from art like that. I like them, just not covered with glass.
Jolie mais trop fade à mon avis. Je préférerais les autres pour le côté plus lumineux et vivant.
Hay que pena, no me gusto para nada el cambio, pero mientras a ti te guste!
NOOOO. Go back to the other.
Love it!!!
