Been loving these Fallout 3 vods. Watching your playthrough brings me nostalgia. Fallout 3 was my first Fallout. Enclave in fallout 3 was okay. If you want the true Enclave experience I recommend giving Fallout 2 a try (It's isometric view though and quite old now).
Marathon uploads on this run have been appreciated, i remember i spent most of a summer break with Fallout 3 and NV

43:13 I really do love the Vertibirds of Fallout 3. According to the lore these are the XVB-02 model which saw field testing in 2077 with a planned service date of 2085 but of course that never happened with the bombs falling and everything. So I guess alot of these Vertibirds ended up in the hands of the Enclave. The Vertibirds we see in Fallout 4 are the XVB-01 (2072) seen flying all over the Commonwealth thanks to the Brotherhood of Steel and used in the introduction of the game by the U.S Army. I imagine the Bos found a stockpile of Pre War birds during the events post Fallout 3 explaining why they have so many by the events of Fallout 4.
Also for classic Fallout fans we saw a differant bird in Fallout 2 used by the Enclave. It's a really cool design with the front looking like a dragonfly with a very bug like design. But I'm not sure were it fits into the lore but I like to assume that this was some type of Prototype bird that the Enclave adopted for mostly transporting goods and soldiers. And then by the events of Fallout 3 around 30 years later they used the XVB-02 we see in the game for the extra firepower.
People have made Fallout 4 mods that bring back the Fallout 3 vertibirds and they look really good.
Saving the best for last? I loved point lookout, and I can't wait to see you play that one.
The last was Mothership Zeta.. and Point Lookout was my favorite. (I'm now done, videos coming in then ext few days)

Your playthrough made me want to purchase and install Fallout3 GOTY edition on my laptop. I haven't played Fallout3 in ages. I should check the nexus to see what mods are available. The last time I played was on my ps3.
did you get it on Steam or GOG.com ? Some folks told me the game won't even launch on Steam.. If it's not running, GOG adds some patches to make it work.

You're not quite done with Broken Steel, tho you've finished it's main quest. Check in at Project Purity and talk to Scribe Bigsly for some extra quests that this DLC provides. Remember that locked door in Springvale (the town you go into after leaving the Vault for the first time)? You finally get to open it in one of them! :)

33! Lol, finally used the Tesla Canon. Would have come in handy with all those turrets and vertibirds. Funny you mentioned Radroaches. For some reason they don't attack me anymore on this new playthrough. Dogmeat fights em but they don't do anything to me. The Reily's armor is the best non-power armor in the game. It has 39 DR, +5 to AP, +1 Luck, and +10 to small guns. Easy to repair too. Lol. 5400 caps. You need to go decorate your house.

the mic itself is not that big, but the foam around it to make sound better, is quite fluffy, yea. The further away I put it, the worse the sound.
