Good to see an update. WWII stuff...nice! Never played Battlegroup and sound interesting in a combined arms gaming action. I'm a BIG Chain of Command gamer and will tell you what CoC brings is the platoon level of gaming. With that being said, it can easily be dialed up to the company level using BIG Chain of Command rules. With 350+ games played, about 25 were truly BIG CoC, with three players per side. If you have players familiar with CoC, then it plays well, we always had an enjoyable time. I've ran many three and four player games and worked well too. When you want to get into a BIG CoC game let me know. We're the guys in Tucson...we met at Historicon on Sundays Big Ass Ancients game.
Great update! Jolly good chaps, those British soldiers looks smashing good. Big projects are always fun and that is something I also get stuck in. Cheers!
the Battlegroup Market Garden book is really good but you definitely need to build an army intentionally for that game to fit the unit/platoon composition and have the right kinds of troops
World War II for the win! Those Victrix brits look nice. The German kit release they're teasing looks totally amazing. The ubiquitous IKEA Detolf cabinets. I have like 4 of them too. Keep painting!
