Right!! It's probably his rifle causing this issue!! When the next round is chambered in his rifle his extractor is more likely the culprit for this problem!! This seems to be a common issue when people put together their own rifles from scratch!!
Something is probably wrong with your rifle, specifically the bolt catch. I have over 2,000 rounds through each of my 10+ PMAG Gen M2 / M3 in my AR-15 (.223 Remington / 5.56x45mm), in harsh service. (I shoot every weekend regardless of weather and these magazines get grounded hard going prone, fired from prone grounded, in and out of chest rigs, shoved up against barriers and vehicles, jammed into mud and snow, etc.). I keep them loaded all of the time unless I’m shooting and never use the dust covers on the Gen M3. I have had these magazines fully loaded for over 5 years. I have NEVER had a PMAG Gen M2 or Gen M3 fail like this.
thats what I suspect, I have old gen1 mags and mid 2010 gen2s and I put them away loaded because whats the point in a mag if its not loaded, never seen a mag even a cheap mag do this.
From the Corps.... I put 25-27 in each. In CA, even 25 is a huge increase over the 10. We just had a magazine ban overturned for about a week so these things flooded the market
I had them in a plate carrier for months on end with no use and they never did that. My stored mags never did that either. All loaded all the time. Stored mags had the caps on. Plate carrier mags did not. I have never had a pmag fail in any fashion on me. So far.
I think the only people that are buying plastic / polymer magazines are millennials. But wait...aren't the Millennials the ones who are telling us that plastic is bad for the environment? Really... Where is the advantage? They weigh the same as usgi mags. Those little caps are patch to fix a problem. So why buy a problem in the first place?
I bought one pmag & one MFT mag to test its durability. All that stress on the walls from the pressure made me skeptical and for good reason.. no metal lining like Glock mags.. thanks
So here is a thought put the retainer clip on the mags that you don’t use ever except maybe one or two that way you have quick access to a mag but you also have plenty in reserve that can be made ready quickly. Just a thought since you said none of those been used much. The likely hood of needing 1000 rds in less than a min is minimal at best
I have a few but I only use them on range days and also any I do keep loaded have the cover on, both gen3 and gen2. The ones I do keep loaded 24/7 are all metal from either c products defense or okay industries. Next stack is coming from Lancer.
I have had two mags fail in the same way, both occurred after they hit the ground during a reloading drill. The range I train at is concrete. I think the mags are ok, just have to inspect after use.
Well, I never had issue with any of pmags, maybe when u store for a long time, I suggest putting on the dust cover to relieve pressure to the lips, plus it keeps it from spreading.
I literally have at least a couple hundred Pmags, all generations. I have used about half of them and keep many many of them loaded to 28 rds. They get banged around all the time and I've never ever had one split or break in 13 years, not one. The problem is NOT your mags. Trust me.

This explains a lot, i have 10 PMags, not sure what gen, but only 2 of them feed properly anymore, the rest will work intermittently, but frequently fail to load, or will stop with a round only partly loaded. I have cleaned, re-cleaned, rebuilt, etc, the rifle to no avail, ill have to very carefully inspect the mags later, didn't notice any cracks, etc, but didn't do a super close exam.
The US Military and US Law enforcement agencies all over the US and the world use Magpul pmags gen 2 or gen 3 in just about every confrontation firefight and they work just fine if not excellent feeding for all types of combat situations... People who get into firefights for a living use these same mags...

I'm pretty sure they recommend putting the dust cap on your mag to keep them from doing that. I have about 12 pmags 6 of them loaded with 29 rnds for last 2 1/2 yrs and none have done that. I use all Gen3 w/ window only have 2 Gen2. I also have the D60
I keep my Pmags loaded but I never load more than 28 rounds. No failures so far. In the M-14 we only loaded 19, later with the M-16 and the original 20 round mags we only loaded 16 rounds. In those days it was the spring you had to worry about. Since then I have always felt it best to not load any mag all the way up If it was good enough for Marines back then, it is good enough for me today
I had the same problem with 2 of mine yesterday at the range. I thought it was my bolt carrier cycling. my friend who was shooting with me here try mine. I had no problem with his pmags. I've used the pmags that had the problem about 5 times. I talked with a few people who had issues also. I left the mags loaded for about 3 weeks. this might be a big problem with pmags. I hope that with their new military contract that this doesn't happen to are troops who lives depend on a reliable mag
Troop11152 i went back to the old reliable D&H Teflon aluminum magazine with the anti tilt followers. went to the range Saturday put about 300 rds down range and had no problems

Mine havnt cracked, but instead are bending out. All the rounds inside change their orientation and get failure to feed. The mags will so fail to seat when the bolt is closed like if there was 31 inside
I have many gen2 and gen3 pmags I don’t shoot everyday but I shoot a fair amount, all of my mags are always loaded and stored in the same cans you use with that said I’ve not experienced any cracking issues like this. Also I made my decision to purchase pmags based off recommendations from service member that swear by the pmags.
No, something’s been slamming into the back of those to start the crack. M2 cutouts are supposed to be rounded at the bottom, not trapezoidal. Something has been “clearancing” the feed gap to make it that way. I just looked at M3s and they already are trapezoidal shaped for loose-standard bolts and carriers. No one cares at this point , but thought I’d point it out.
I know this is an old video now, but they're designed to fail in that way. They have to fail somewhere, but they picked a place to allow this, in a way the mag will still function perfectly fine. No its not ideal, but a completely broken or bent feed lip isn't going to function.
No i understand that but alot of us aint never going to battle so beating the hell out of your gear just to say see it can take it, dont make sense to me. @Punished Aniquin they break when you drop to the prone. Not all the time. But its a scary feeling when you're reloading and you pull a mag to find the bullets flying out. Shit happens in battle. The mags get squeezed between a rock and a hard plate of armor.
Shame on me. I bought 2 hex mags a gen1 and a gen 2. The gen 1 split day 1 and the gen 2 I just don't use for this reason unless I'm gonna fail train. Now I use gi mags till I find something better.
If you store them without the dust cover while loaded, they all will eventually crack down the seam on the spine, seen it many times, for the Gen 3 and newer Gen 2 Magpul says they change the polymer and should prevent the cracking. Have not seen it with Gen 3 yet, but all plastics/polymers deteriorate over time, there is no way of fixing that. USGI aluminum mags will outlast any polymer magazine.
DavArroyo7242 I contacted Magpul about the dust covers, they said the covers do not add any strength to the mags... Its an internet hear say myth that gets repeated and passed on, its just a simple dust cover. I've had a few mags crack over a long period of time, but I don't expect a $12 piece of plastic to last for ever. I will continue to buy Pmags!
They can easily be fixed with crazy glue. Just add glue and push the crack back together with a clamp and they will be fin for quite a while longer, and if the crack again for some reason, repeat by glueing and clamping.
You do know magazines are intended to be disposable, right? No one, including myself, treats them as such, but nevertheless, they are. I have, and use, dust/impact covers for all my Gen2 PMAGs, none of which are less than three years old, and have never experienced this issue. All I have are Gen2 PMAGs too; nine flawless Gen2 PMAGs that are always kept loaded with 28 rounds and have dust/impact covers attached. Sucks to hear this about the design of magazine I exclusively use, but not having this issue with mine.
When your life depends on your equipment, it's failure is unacceptable. Especially when someone is shooting back at you. Saying a magazine is disposable is a poor excuse for badly designed piece of equipment.
I store my pmags with 28 rds and use a impact/dust cover on each one. I have never had any of them crack. I only load 28 rds because I think they seat in the mag well easier. However it might keep a little pressure off the top end and feed lips. I have not had any issues so far.

Polymer mags are good for training, plinking, and target shooting, but I don’t know if I would trust my life with them. I prefer NHMTG, D&H, and Lancer mags to protect my life. I’m not saying that Pmags are bad. Lots of people like them. I just prefer a stronger magazine for a SHTF or WROL situation.
Sturmgewehr556-The steel feed lips are actually spring steel, which means that if you drop them they will spring back to the original position. Spring steel is much better for this type of product than just regular steel.
My guess, and you may have heard this, but it could have been a bad production lot. Maybe something specific with your mag well? Not saying your mag well is a problem....but maybe there's some sort of tolerance issue between the mags and your wells? IDK....just throwing things out there. I've never had a PMAG fail beyond normal spring wear.
Check our Ross Defense UNIMAG. Greatest AR-15 mag I've ever bought in my I have multiple AR 15 builds indifferent chamber such a 7.62 by 39 556 6.5 Grendel 458 socom and I think that's it but that one mag will fit all of those rounds I was really impressed when it fed the 7.62 by 39

Lancer is a hybrid mag, but the top of the mag is made from spring steel. I just don’t trust my life with a polymer mag. And as far as a pistol magazine goes, never trust your life with an aftermarket mag. Spend the extra money on factory original magazines just like the ones that came with your pistol. I have a variety of different magazines for the AR15. NHMTG, Lancer, Pmag, Hexmag, Troy and others. But the only magazines I would trust my life with are the NHMTG and Lancer magazines. NHMTG mags were made by Okay Industries. I don’t know of anywhere that sells them anymore after 44mag went out of business in early 2019. I have heard, from many people on TH-cam, that Pmags are the best mags money can buy. I personally don’t think they are. The Okay Industries Surefeed magazines are still available, but the NHMTG mags are gone as far as I know. I will never sell those magazines at any price.

Sounds like you’re from PA? I’ve never had this issue. I’ve got at least 30 of M2 and 20 M3. I load to 29 for easier bolt-closed reloads. Been stored and used this way for a decade with no problem. Maybe bad batch?
I clicked on one vid talking about PMAGs being crap and now they keep popping up. Had my Gen2s loaded with 30rnds well over a year and not a single issue. Dropped em quite a few times. Never an issue. It sucks you guys are having issues. I mean people try to push Lancers on me and my 10rnd 308 Lancer mag doesn’t feed smoothly and the first round almost always gets caught on the feed lips. Also scratches the brass which doesn’t bother me. I just don’t like them but I’m not going to tell people to never buy em again. Went and bought a 7.62 M3 PMAG and my LaRue functions perfectly. I wouldn’t buy M2 PMAGs anymore. They worked fine and I still have two but the M3s are better in every way. I’m also interested in those Daniel Defense mags though.
I have some 20 round G3 mags that don't catch the bolt hold open. Contacted Magpul and they offered to replace but couldn't because I live in a 10 round state. (Wa State) All my other mags work Lancer, Duramag, bla bla bla.
Probably Gen 1, I don't know. Send it back with a note explaining the problem. They will replace with or without a receipt, also free shipping. I have at least 100 Gen 3 PMAGS and 4 D60 Drums. Not one problem EVER.!!! Sorry to see this problem.
How long have you had your mags loaded and stored? Have you dropped them ? Do you load them 30 rounds or 28/27 ? Are they actual Magpul mags or knockoffs from wish or alibaba? All factors into your mags failing. In the military we never loaded our mags to 30 rounds and those there the aluminum. There are draw backs to leaving your mags stored for long periods of time especially to max capacity. With the pmags... well you found out why. With the aluminum mags... it weakens the spring. If you’re going to have mags stored for SHTF/WROL... cycle out your ammo and mags. When you buy more ammo, go to the range and shoot older ammo to relieve pressure from your mags and ensure function and load up new mags. You are the first person I’ve seen to have issues. It’s not the mags, has to be user error ... you!

They are designed to hold 30 just fine. Your thinking of gi mags z, you are able to push pmags followers down at least another 2 rounds worth. They will be fine at 30
@@mrgrump2534 and no springs won’t lose tension after a year unless your using ping pong spec mags. Already been proven you can load mags for years without issues. Someone found a full loaded wwii era 1911 mag burried, clean it up and it cycled perfectly. They only lose tension when you cycle them alot
You can see in his box some mags are filled high on the left side and some are filled to the right side (the one on bottom right is bulging and overfilled with 31..look at the image @ 5 min 38 sec to 6 min 20 sec.). Learn to count!! Think outside of the box for once. If 25 to 30 MILLION people are using these mags for many years, and only you and 2 or 3 other people are having this issue, the problem (just maybe) is YOU!!! just sayin"
Just stumbled upon this issue video about Pmag failure/cracking. Have a few Pmags and a couple Amend2 magazines as well. Personally, I don't have any faith in plastic magazines, especially those that remain loaded. I was given these plastic mags and didn't buy them. And I don't trust 'em. They don't fit easily into the mag well. Even empty. They won't fall freely when the magazine release is activated. Ya gotta reach up and pull 'em out. That sure slows down a "fast" reloading process.. The suggestions I've seen in the comments section are, in my opinion, silly. Sotra like justifying having plastic mags. Load only 28 rounds. Why? They're sold as 30 round mags. Use the dust caps to help relieve the pressure on the feed lips. Again, why? If you loose a dust cap, you afraid the mag's gonna start splitting? Do you always have a cap on every mag you carry as well? Don't drop the mags as they're going to be damaged. Uh huh, so much for the bragging about running over Pmags with a truck's tire and not be damaged. If you're going to run over them with vehicles, why fear a drop of around 4'? Come on now... Nope, as for me, I'll continue to use aluminum and steel magazines as I have since 1968. No dust caps. Loaded to 30 rounds with zero splits or bulging or stiff insertion into the weapon. Always falls free from the weapon's magazine well with just a push of the release allowing the next mag in the free hand for quick reloads, and not hampered by having to pull the stuck empty mag out first.

Pretty much.. People tend to be super biased towards things they invest in and get butthurt when they hear anything negative about it because they bought it thinking it's the best. I still love pmags, I just know that nothing is perfect; variety is the spice of life and I mostly buy pmags and usgi mags knowing each have their limits/downfalls.. I throw in some lancers here and there too!
Put the dust cover on them it relieves the feed lip pressure. But honestly I think you got a Chinese knock off.

That is what the little caps that come with the mags are for. Keeps the pressure off the feed lips.

If a tiny plastic cap is all that’s keeping these mags from self destructing, they are not good mags to begin with.
Its always been suggested to put the caps on them for long term storage

That's why I rock the aluminum usgi mags and keep the magpuls for range / training

I have some loaded with 27 for 7 years, took them out last weekend and they functioned fine

gen 2s nowadays use the same polymer mixture as gen 3s fyi. They're pretty strong as well now

The Gen3 with the windows were tested and proved to be the best.

They only loaded to 28 because by design the gi mags didn’t have any more give when fully loaded.

Mine havnt cracked, but instead are bending out. All the rounds inside change their orientation and get failure to feed. The mags will so fail to seat when the bolt is closed like if there was 31 inside
P.S. I have experienced cracking at the feed lips with the gen2 ak pmags.

I have many gen2 and gen3 pmags I don’t shoot everyday but I shoot a fair amount, all of my mags are always loaded and stored in the same cans you use with that said I’ve not experienced any cracking issues like this. Also I made my decision to purchase pmags based off recommendations from service member that swear by the pmags.
The new 22lr mags suck i purchased 3 and they all fail to feed correctly every other is a jam gotta love 2021!!!
I’ve kept my gen3 mags loaded for years and no issues. The gen2 mags use an inferior polymer from what I understand.

No, something’s been slamming into the back of those to start the crack. M2 cutouts are supposed to be rounded at the bottom, not trapezoidal. Something has been “clearancing” the feed gap to make it that way.
I just looked at M3s and they already are trapezoidal shaped for loose-standard bolts and carriers.

I know this is an old video now, but they're designed to fail in that way. They have to fail somewhere, but they picked a place to allow this, in a way the mag will still function perfectly fine. No its not ideal, but a completely broken or bent feed lip isn't going to function.

@Punished Aniquin they break when you drop to the prone. Not all the time. But its a scary feeling when you're reloading and you pull a mag to find the bullets flying out. Shit happens in battle. The mags get squeezed between a rock and a hard plate of armor.

Shame on me. I bought 2 hex mags a gen1 and a gen 2. The gen 1 split day 1 and the gen 2 I just don't use for this reason unless I'm gonna fail train. Now I use gi mags till I find something better.
Cracked pmags still work just fine. Buy em up and use em.

I run nothing but pmag gen 2s and never have had any issues with them in my time of owning them
If you store them without the dust cover while loaded, they all will eventually crack down the seam on the spine, seen it many times, for the Gen 3 and newer Gen 2 Magpul says they change the polymer and should prevent the cracking. Have not seen it with Gen 3 yet, but all plastics/polymers deteriorate over time, there is no way of fixing that. USGI aluminum mags will outlast any polymer magazine.

I contacted Magpul about the dust covers, they said the covers do not add any strength to the mags... Its an internet hear say myth that gets repeated and passed on, its just a simple dust cover. I've had a few mags crack over a long period of time, but I don't expect a $12 piece of plastic to last for ever. I will continue to buy Pmags!
They can easily be fixed with crazy glue. Just add glue and push the crack back together with a clamp and they will be fin for quite a while longer, and if the crack again for some reason, repeat by glueing and clamping.
I may agree, I just pulled a gen3 out with cap on while loaded it streached out of tolerance and would not cycle. It was 1 year stored like that.

You do know magazines are intended to be disposable, right? No one, including myself, treats them as such, but nevertheless, they are. I have, and use, dust/impact covers for all my Gen2 PMAGs, none of which are less than three years old, and have never experienced this issue. All I have are Gen2 PMAGs too; nine flawless Gen2 PMAGs that are always kept loaded with 28 rounds and have dust/impact covers attached. Sucks to hear this about the design of magazine I exclusively use, but not having this issue with mine.

I store my pmags with 28 rds and use a impact/dust cover on each one. I have never had any of them crack. I only load 28 rds because I think they seat in the mag well easier. However it might keep a little pressure off the top end and feed lips. I have not had any issues so far.
I have five of those containers like in the video, with 19 of the gen 2 pmags in each. All loaded with 28 rounds.
It's been about four years, and I am not having these issues so far...

Polymer mags are good for training, plinking, and target shooting, but I don’t know if I would trust my life with them. I prefer NHMTG, D&H, and Lancer mags to protect my life. I’m not saying that Pmags are bad. Lots of people like them. I just prefer a stronger magazine for a SHTF or WROL situation.

Switch to Lancer L5AWM much better then Gen 2 Pmags. They have steel reinforced feed lips that don't crack when dropped or when left loaded for years.

Sturmgewehr556-The steel feed lips are actually spring steel, which means that if you drop them they will spring back to the original position. Spring steel is much better for this type of product than just regular steel.
My guess, and you may have heard this, but it could have been a bad production lot. Maybe something specific with your mag well? Not saying your mag well is a problem....but maybe there's some sort of tolerance issue between the mags and your wells? IDK....just throwing things out there. I've never had a PMAG fail beyond normal spring wear.
Right that's why you have to rotate your mags. People think they can keep any mag loaded for years..and expect it to function. Unreal.
Check our Ross Defense UNIMAG. Greatest AR-15 mag I've ever bought in my I have multiple AR 15 builds indifferent chamber such a 7.62 by 39 556 6.5 Grendel 458 socom and I think that's it but that one mag will fit all of those rounds I was really impressed when it fed the 7.62 by 39

IT WILL BEHOOVE YOU TO USE IT TOO. A word to the wise should be sufficient. Oh and BTW.. your's was *not* "a PMAG Failure". it was an "END USER FAILURE". Due to not following manufacturers instructions.
What generation are those
Polymer mags are good for training, target shooting, and plinking. But for a SHTF or WROL situation, I will stick with my NHMTG and Lancer magazines. Lancer is a hybrid mag, but the top of the mag is made from spring steel. I just don’t trust my life with a polymer mag. And as far as a pistol magazine goes, never trust your life with an aftermarket mag. Spend the extra money on factory original magazines just like the ones that came with your pistol. I have a variety of different magazines for the AR15. NHMTG, Lancer, Pmag, Hexmag, Troy and others. But the only magazines I would trust my life with are the NHMTG and Lancer magazines. NHMTG mags were made by Okay Industries. I don’t know of anywhere that sells them anymore after 44mag went out of business in early 2019. I have heard, from many people on TH-cam, that Pmags are the best mags money can buy. I personally don’t think they are. The Okay Industries Surefeed magazines are still available, but the NHMTG mags are gone as far as I know. I will never sell those magazines at any price.
Anything plastic without proper outside steel reinforced feed ramps is junk. Pmag is junk but decent for range disposable use

I’ve never had this issue. I’ve got at least 30 of M2 and 20 M3. I load to 29 for easier bolt-closed reloads. Been stored and used this way for a decade with no problem. Maybe bad batch?

I clicked on one vid talking about PMAGs being crap and now they keep popping up. Had my Gen2s loaded with 30rnds well over a year and not a single issue. Dropped em quite a few times. Never an issue. It sucks you guys are having issues. I mean people try to push Lancers on me and my 10rnd 308 Lancer mag doesn’t feed smoothly and the first round almost always gets caught on the feed lips. Also scratches the brass which doesn’t bother me. I just don’t like them but I’m not going to tell people to never buy em again. Went and bought a 7.62 M3 PMAG and my LaRue functions perfectly. I wouldn’t buy M2 PMAGs anymore. They worked fine and I still have two but the M3s are better in every way. I’m also interested in those Daniel Defense mags though.

I have some 20 round G3 mags that don't catch the bolt hold open. Contacted Magpul and they offered to replace but couldn't because I live in a 10 round state. (Wa State) All my other mags work Lancer, Duramag, bla bla bla.

Send it back with a note explaining the problem.

How long have you had your mags loaded and stored? Have you dropped them ? Do you load them 30 rounds or 28/27 ? Are they actual Magpul mags or knockoffs from wish or alibaba? All factors into your mags failing. In the military we never loaded our mags to 30 rounds and those there the aluminum. There are draw backs to leaving your mags stored for long periods of time especially to max capacity. With the pmags... well you found out why. With the aluminum mags... it weakens the spring. If you’re going to have mags stored for SHTF/WROL... cycle out your ammo and mags. When you buy more ammo, go to the range and shoot older ammo to relieve pressure from your mags and ensure function and load up new mags. You are the first person I’ve seen to have issues. It’s not the mags, has to be user error ... you!

They are designed to hold 30 just fine. Your thinking of gi mags z, you are able to push pmags followers down at least another 2 rounds worth. They will be fine at 30
@@mrgrump2534 and no springs won’t lose tension after a year unless your using ping pong spec mags. Already been proven you can load mags for years without issues. Someone found a full loaded wwii era 1911 mag burried, clean it up and it cycled perfectly. They only lose tension when you cycle them alot

A little late to the game but nevertheless, my 2 cents. It will help with cracking if you avoid slamming mags into the well with bolt closed.

I have 20 pmags for IPSC with a lot of use. No problems whatsoever.
You can see in his box some mags are filled high on the left side and some are filled to the right side (the one on bottom right is bulging and overfilled with 31..look at the image @ 5 min 38 sec to 6 min 20 sec.). Learn to count!! Think outside of the box for once. If 25 to 30 MILLION people are using these mags for many years, and only you and 2 or 3 other people are having this issue, the problem (just maybe) is YOU!!! just sayin"
Buy Lancers or good ol fashioned OK mags or duramags. Both are lighter anyway.
Just stumbled upon this issue video about Pmag failure/cracking. Have a few Pmags and a couple Amend2 magazines as well. Personally, I don't have any faith in plastic magazines, especially those that remain loaded. I was given these plastic mags and didn't buy them. And I don't trust 'em. They don't fit easily into the mag well. Even empty. They won't fall freely when the magazine release is activated. Ya gotta reach up and pull 'em out. That sure slows down a "fast" reloading process..

Load only 28 rounds. Why? They're sold as 30 round mags. Use the dust caps to help relieve the pressure on the feed lips. Again, why? If you loose a dust cap, you afraid the mag's gonna start splitting? Do you always have a cap on every mag you carry as well? Don't drop the mags as they're going to be damaged. Uh huh, so much for the bragging about running over Pmags with a truck's tire and not be damaged. If you're going to run over them with vehicles, why fear a drop of around 4'? Come on now...
Nope, as for me, I'll continue to use aluminum and steel magazines as I have since 1968. No dust caps. Loaded to 30 rounds with zero splits or bulging or stiff insertion into the weapon. Always falls free from the weapon's magazine well with just a push of the release allowing the next mag in the free hand for quick reloads, and not hampered by having to pull the stuck empty mag out first.
Lancer L5 is all I run.. metal feed lips 💪🏽💯

It is all about storage, releative humidity and climate I believe.
So many commenters address the problem by saying you need to keep the dust covers on the Magazines when they are loaded. Those little dust cover caps are patch to fix a problem. So why buy a problem in the first place?
Where is the advantage of a plastic magazine? They weigh the same as usgi mags. They get brittle in cold weather. They are susceptible to cracking. The feed lips spread under pressure of a full load.
There's nothing wrong with metal mags. Plastic magazines are just marketing hype to increase profit for the manufacturer. They can crank out thousands of injection molded plastic magazines for pennies and sell them to you at exorbitant prices.

Pretty much.. People tend to be super biased towards things they invest in and get butthurt when they hear anything negative about it because they bought it thinking it's the best. I still love pmags, I just know that nothing is perfect; variety is the spice of life and I mostly buy pmags and usgi mags knowing each have their limits/downfalls.. I throw in some lancers here and there too!
