The US Presidents dive into the jungle depths to play a wild game of Mario Party 8 in DK's Treetop Temple! As the party goes on, the chaos multiplies, and the ending is truly one of the plot twists of all time! And this all happened organically and no retakes were done! 🙌 This was such an epic project that I'm super happy to finally release! The project started a couple months ago with the thought of doing a video on Mario Party 8, because it is one of my favourite games of all time, a true childhood classic for me. After doing some planning and running some tests, I was excited to see that online multiplayer Mario Party 8 through Dolphin Netplay was viable (even without wii remotes for those who wouldn't have one), so there would be no need for CPU players. 🤖 However, we discovered that Dolphin Netplay started to struggle when running with a full 4 player party, and the game became too choppy to turn into a video. But then we tried out Parsec, and amazingly, it worked like a charm! 🌟 And over the past several weeks, I've been cookin' this video up, and let me just say: this project was HUMONGOUS! 1102 voicelines, and nearly twice as long as my previous longest video! I always like when they're actually talking and cracking jokes. Not just F bombs and them actually saying "LMAO" feels so Ai-y. This was natural and real funny.

If this video does well, I will definitely do more! I'd like to do all the boards and perhaps even some specials like tag team battles (2v2), I think that could be fun as well. As of right now, this video is seemingly doing well, but in a much different pattern than usual. Typically videos get a spike on day 1 and then slowly climb from that, but this video never got a spike, and instead is climbing at the same pace everyday since day 1. Longer videos like this take a loooong time to make, but if this viewership pace keeps up I can justify spending a bunch more time to make another one! 😄
