Hiya Kim! I've had a dreadful morning (one word...banks!) so have made a coffee and sat down to watch this as a treat to calm me down, so thank you 💟 Love your purchases, those trousers look perfect as a crop and really suit you, as to your tops, they're all in 'your' colours and look really lovely, bargains too 👍 Thanks for the cheery diversion xx
Wow the bedding makes your day when that happens. The colours on the top are lovely. I finish 5 weeks of intense medical treatment on Friday my daughter asked me if I wanted to do anything but watching this a coffee and a mooch round my local charity shops is just what I fancy.
Bargain time lol, what a lucky find that bedding was ,I find the ribbons in clothes annoying too,I cut them out and pass on to friend who makes bows for her crafting things, waste not want not 😊
The duvet cover was serendipitous! I bought a steamer. I find it doesn't get out creases as well as ironing, its heavy and hurts my arm after a while and uses tons of water and takes ages. Stick to an iron i reckon!
😊so lovely to see you Kim. I definitely prefer a steamer for quickness and saves having to put the ironing board up. It’s also saved me from a lot of iron- related injuries which I always seem to inflict on myself 😂. If you hang your clothes up whilst they are drying they don’t need more than a quick steam at the most . I only use my iron every now and again now and could probably do without it.
Hi kim, You was definitely destined to have that Laura Ashley duvet cover. It was meant to be ☺️. I bought a steamer,it was lovely but in my experience it did produce a heck of a lot of moisture in my home, which unfortunately created some damp issues. I think because your bed is in the room you would probably use it, its something you need to bear in mind. I've since bought some dehumidifiers and you'd be shocked at how much water collects in them during a day 😳 x
I have a steamer I use it for most of my shirts and dresses but I still keep the iron for trousers as it’s quicker on bigger thicker items to iron them. Having said that though I now only need to iron about once a month and my steamer was only £20 so well worth it.
A Nursery Nurse doesn't need a TV on their off time. Absolutely not.Excellent score on bed set.I have quite a few.I really enjoy beautiful bed clothes.😘
Hi Kim. Great haul and what a bargain with your bedding. I'm with you cutting off those silly bits of ribbon. I know they stop garments from slipping off the hangers but they annoy me xx
Hi Kim,lovely seeing you so happy again xx always love your vlogs amazing finds from charity shops again I havnt been charity shops for ages have a fab week xx
I've only used my iron about four times in the last 16 years, and not at all for about seven years. I usually just smooth things flat before hanging up or folding and putting away. I did get a steamer, which I've used a few times and am happy with for the amount I need it. The only issue with the steamer is that I'm not sure how it works on fiddly bits, like collars. And, like you, I usually cut the hanging ribbons (or whatever they're called) out, too.
Hi Kim....I've used a steam iron for over 15 years.....would never go back.....there is a regulator that allows non-steaming, so you can switch if you prefer, you don't always have to steam, like when your ironing silk or delicates 😊
Hi Kim. Looking lovely. I’ve had a steamer for ages but I don’t use it. I much prefer my iron. Love your videos. They always make me smile. Love the lilac cardigan xx
Kim i bought a hand steamer for my holidays and it takes forever to do some items, it is ok for thinner delicate things. I still like my steam generator iron i can whizz through heavier materials no bother. I too hate the strings that are inside clothes to keep them on the hanger, as soon as i try them on and decide to keep then i cut them off. 😊
I got rid of my telly as well much prefer my pad with u tube channels like yours xx😂 I bought a handheld steamer didn't get on with it it had a glove to hold material while you steamed ..I think ok for thin material but no good for linen which is why I bought it ..took a long time to get creases out 😮
Hi Kim , great haul you can definitely get some lovely things in charity shops 😊. Must say your looking really well , love watching your videos look forward to the next one XX
Have you tried the bite sized audio books on TH-cam? They have over a hundred ghost stories less than an hour long I love listening to them in bed also they have detective ones.
Yaaaay! It's my beautiful Kim! Looking "gorj" today!
Aww thank you so much, that’s cheered up my evening so much xx
You picked up some great bargains the duvet cover was meant to be❤️👍🏻

I prefer silent rooms too. I think it comes from years of working as a teacher!😂
Lol, maybe I love it because I also work with children 🤔xx
Thanks Kim .👍👍

Liked what you bought gd bargains
Iron every time 😁
I can’t do 3 quarter sleeves ,it’s either a short cap sleeve or long sleeve though I can’t just about take a short t shirt sleeve
Hi Kim my fave coulor lylic ❤
I hate the steamer, must quicker with an iron & a much better result.
I have one they are OK for blouses but not cotton really l have to iron husbands shirts but his trousers steam
Have you tried the bite sized audio books on TH-cam? They have over a hundred ghost stories less than an hour long I love listening to them in bed also they have detective ones.
I found the steamer very disappointing, I can’t get on with it. Everything stays creased.
You have to hold it quite close to the garment 😊
dont like the steamer for some items,,, they just need a iron ,,,, cant put a crease on a blouse sleeve or pants
That’s a very good point, I hadn’t thought about that. Thank you for the tip and advice xx
Lovely limbo looking good 👍 ❤❤
Sorry but don’t like the cardigans. The beige one is much to tight and lilac one just doesn’t do anything for you!!🤦♀️🥰
❤❤❤
When are you going to be a granny
Hi Kim ❤
Hi Fiona xx
Great haul Kim
