Ireland is definitely on my bucket list. The landscape is breathtaking and there's so much culture to see and learn.
Just at the moment, however, a lot of Israel bashing is coming from Ireland.
The history of our beautiful country will tell you why that "bashing" is occurring. Saoirse don Pháilistín.
Also, "At the moment" 😅 this tells me you have absolutely no idea about Ireland, its people, or its culture.
@elll2184 I do know quite a bit of Irish history and culture, but clearly most Irish don't know anything about the Middle East conflict, especially about Gaza.
In 2005 the last Jewish settlers and IDF (Israeli Defence Forces) soldiers left the Gaza strip.
In 2006 the population of Gaza elected Hamas, an international acknowledged terror organisation, as their political leaders.
Hamas could have use the international money it got to build an infrastructure in Gaza and develop it economically. Instead it chose to spend the money to build tunnels in order to infiltrate terrorists into Israel and to develop missiles, which are daily launched into Israel. The start of the tunnels, as well as the missiles launching ramps, are built in hospitals, schools, mosques, and residential areas.
The slogan "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" calls (also as Hamas admits it) to the extermination of Israel and to kill all the Jews living there.
Israel is currently fighting for its right to exist as the only Jewish state worldwide, which might have saved many Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust if it had been established earlier.

@@lassam333 Israel has murdered 40k civilians in the last 7 months. On the one hand you say you want a 2 state solution. But Israel doesnt even recognize palestine as a state and neither does the US. How can you have a 2 state solution if you dont recognize two states? Also the knesset has frequently stated it wants to genocide all gazans. And is ACTUALLY DOING IT. Please dont come to ireland. Firstly you will only get into trouble and secondly you will not even have a good time. Why waste your money and just cause trouble? stick to a zionist country its for the best.
