Nadia, you need to listen to mindfulness lessons. A tidy house means a tidy mind. If you keep a tidy house perhaps it might help Mark with his depression.
Nadia in the kindest way. You ask for help and never take up any kind offers that you are so privileged to have. Maybe you should go through CBT therapy. It modifies your behaviour. BUT I love how Mark deflects and adds his issues around his untidiness onto Nadia whilst coercing his kids at the same time. That is what I call skill!!!😂😂😂
You discard the clothes from the rail to the floor so that you can clearly see what is left to choose from. The key is to put them somewhere other than the floor while you choose and then immediately hang then back on the rail once chosen. Many clients have this issue and it really is about understanding that you do this to see your remaining choices and the intentional decision to put them back after, especially when they’re already on hangers. It doesn’t take long to learn and then the new routine becomes habit.

Nadia has adhd. So, she looks at the clothes, removes what she doesn't want, puts it on the floor because she will get confused if she puts it back on the rack.
I suggest that you empty the clothes bars behind her, so she can just move the clothes to another bar. That will help. She needs help with ADHD

I think the reason Nadia doesn’t buy wardrobes for her room and blames it on Mark is self-sabotage. She knows that she still wouldn’t keep it tidy. There must be some deep psychological reason. BUT this vlog did make me 😂 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm dying, laughing until I'm crying!!!!!!!!! The last time my husband and I did something like that I was laughing so hard I ran into a table and broke a lamp. Needless to say, the kids yelled at us and said we were acting like children. If you can't have fun and a good laugh then what else is there left? Nadia, we are the same age but certainly don't feel like it mentally, physically is another story!

OMG Nadia I feel I'm your sister from another family, but last week I thought to myself, come on you can do this, I sorted through all my clothes and shoes, I took 8 black bin bags to a recycle place but I still have a double double wardrobe, totally full of 20 pairs of trousers, 8 culottes, 8 shorts, 4 skirt, 5 dresses, I'm not going to count the t-shirts etc 😁 After looking at your I have started again and got another 2 bags for recycling 🥰
Aw don’t be too hard on yourselves guys, my room is messier than yours with clothes all over the floor. It’s really not as bad as you think and will be so easy to tidy. Dedicate an hour a day and you’ll get it sorted in a few days. I find it easy to clean and organise other people’s rooms except my own. Your kitchen and main living area always looks so cosy and comforting and that’s what matters
I have the same problem Nadia. I've been tidying up my bedroom for the last two years & I never seem to get anywhere. It's a tip! I feel your pain! I think maybe we have too many clothes? xx

How's this for an idea. Have several big baskets in the room and instead of it all going into one pile on the floor, you put sweaters in one basket, t-shirts in another, trousers in another etc. that way at least it is separated and more organised and it will be easier to put away and find things. I think that you need to find a system that works for you though. Wardrobes will hide the mess but one can end up with jumbled up shelves in there!

Hang on a minute, your domain is your domain, if you don’t mind being untidy in “your” room - then so be it. Put a sign on door “Do Not Enter” If you are unhappy about being untidy in your then do something about it. As long as your untidiness does not encroach on others in the house, or something needs to be done = compromising, its simples 😂

@Nadiaswalha I so so wish you would get qualified help with a professional diagnose to the awful problem you have with your clothes and your room,the number of times you have been recored about this issue I have lost count and its all for your own sanity YES this issue will not kill you as Drinks,Drugs etc will but just think of the piece of mind you will hopefully have in the end and how proud your family and Subs would be...
Subs have tried to help you choose wardrobes as @mark_adderley has,Stacey I would imagine would come and help and you have already had Lisa's help with some of the kitchen....
We can all suggest certainly ways of helping you but I honestly think its needs to be Proffessional help(although I could be wrong as I not having to deal with what you are)...

I’m very much like Nadia, so i hired a lovely lady who comes twice a week to wash, iron and organise my clothes. Really makes you a bit tidier to save on the embarrassment of her cross looks!
