While the fair does attract thousands of people for various reasons, I knew plenty of people that are still really bothered by that tragedy, including myself. Over the last few months I have gotten to know the family of Tyler Jarrell well and support their journey to make fairs safer. They are trying to make Tyler's Law a reality. While I have no plans of visiting the fair, I am glad Bob takes the time to make these videos.
My hope is that last year's tragedy will make rides even safer. Accidents are going to happen, but that one seemed preventable. I noticed there were fewer rides on the main ride midway this year, but the rides that were there all had lines. Good to hear from you, Sean. what law fair rides are totally unsafe always will be they come off trucks there never gonna be 1000 percent safe like cedar point it wasnt even the fair's fault the ride had flaws and was many years old
Tyler's Law will require better requirements among inspectors, nation wide. As it stands right now, requirements differ per state. This law will make things more uniform and hopefully help catch something before it happens. The fair has and hires inspectors so the blame is equal in my opinion. Fair rides can be very safe if they are inspected correctly and maintained on a regular basis. This law will help with that.
Lasts years fair rides were so burning there was like hardly any and this year when I went it was so fun!!!! I hope they have space roller next year again bc I didn’t go on it yet and I’ve been dying to go on it!
Amusements of America provided the Coastal Carolina Fair and brought The American flagged Pharaoh's Fury and Chaos. At the Ohio State Fair, they should've brought the Hydro Shock ride or Hydra Ride. They're both Brand New btw.

I appreciate having a video titled 'Ohio State Fair 2018,' but this video is basically all rides. The great majority of people who attend the Ohio State Fair do not ride any rides! Going forward,, would you please make videos showing the rest of the fair besides rides? I'd say rides could make up 10-20%. Unfortunately this year you won't be able, since our great state fair is not open to the public... :-( Luckily most county fairs are, and some of them have been really packed already as I type this on July 25, 2021.

I try to include other aspects of the parks and fairs I visit whenever I can, including musical acts, food, shops, displays, etc -- but my interest lies mostly with filming the rides. I'll keep you in mind next year (if they let me in!) Fortunately there are hundreds if not thousands of Ohio State Fair videos on TH-cam covering pretty much everything.
After the fireball accident last year, and the accident in Pakistan a few weeks ago, I don’t think I can trust fairs like this. I can go to amusement parks all day every day but fairs? I’ll pass.
