    While not the most realistic animation I have come across and the fact that the character animations were basically "Lego" people, you have captured the full horror and sadness of the tragedy, in a way others have not. I hope you can appreciate, that this is not intended to be a negative criticism of your work, but quite the contrary.

    For those wondering why Boat 10 is lowered late in the animation at 2:09. This is because new evidence suggests it left later than previously thought. The testimonies of Frank Evans and Edward Buley indicate that the red port light was very close to the water when they left. Frank Evans said it was 10 feet from water when they left and Buley said it was under when they reached water. However, if it was lowered at 1:50, this would contradict Charles Lightoller, Hugh Woolner and Arthur Bright accounts as to where water was when Boat D lowered. (Lightoller said it was 10 feet from deck and Woolner implied it and Bright said the forecastle was going under when they left). We can’t change the waterline to account for Buley and Evans and dismiss other survivors.
    Edit: The officer In charge might have been Murdoch if he went aft after Boat C’s lowering to oversee Boat 10 before Boat A.
    Therefore, most likely, Boat 10 left later than previously thought, at 2:09 to account for Evans and Buley and not contradict other testimonies.

    honestly in my opinion, even though the most part of the sinking was slow and calm, the last 5 minutes were terrifying, because in 5 minutes when water reached the boat deck, the whole ship just fell down dead, with the ship slipping down so rapidly and the splitting apart and the ending with stern almost vertical, it was really violent.

    Very Well Done Kief! This Is Easily One, If Not The Best Animation Of The Sinking You Have Ever Made! I Am So Proud On How Much You Have Improved/Progressed! The Marconi Map Transition Scene Caught Me So Off-Guard, I Absolutely Love The Idea! My Legs Couldn't Stop Shaking Through The Whole Sinking, It Really Captured The Horror And Realism, It Felt Like I Was Actually There As A Flying Ghost, Watching Everything Take Place, It Scared Me. The Final Plunge Sequence Is Also A Great Improvement, Especially How Deep The #1Funnel Was Before Falling, And The Break-Up Sequence Was Also Great! It's Great To See On How The Forward Tower (Also Still Being Debated, Got Kicked Out Of Oceanic Odyssey Because Of It) Collapsed On The Surface, It Just Makes So Much More Sense For It To Just Collapse On The Surface, An It Also Adds Up With Accounts! I Noticed On How You Have Improved On Sound Design (No Need To Almost Kill Me For A Whole Week Anymore Lol). I Am Proud Of You! I Am Excited To See What You Will Be Able To Make In The Honor Of Those On Board And Titanic Herself In The Future!

      I did not revert to the towers falling at the surface, it's a thing that I'm trying to add back in but is currently being further research, if proven, the bow's draft as it went down after detaching from the Stern could have caused an effect where it could have carried the tower along with its draft before it goes on its own sailing east.

      Frank Evans and Edward Buley testifyed the Port light being close to the water when they left. However, if it was lowered at 1;50, then water would have been at the railing at the side ofthe forecastle likely and the forecastle likely didnt submerge until Boat D's lowering as Arthur Bright in Boat D testified the forecastle was going under when they left. The only way to account for them is to have 10 lowered ;ater then prevoiusly thought. Others testified it was the last Boat from the port side lowered. They testified water was at the light when 10 left. Sorry for any offence, no offence meant

      1. What do you mean by this? I am confused.
      2. The Titanic's Lights are divided into different sections and have their own circuit, the forward one likely failed by 2:05-2:10AM as evidenced by Passengers on Collapsible D who observed it.
      3. 0200H was the time that the forecastle was mostly likely beginning to go under
      4. The sketch was more likely an interpretation of the break-up occurring, and not how the break-up behaved.
      5. Most reliable sources so far are by reading the survivor accounts, you can read them here: www.titanicinquiry.org/

      As per current research the forward lights did go out that early. As per survivors on the Collapsible D, they saw the lights go off the moment it was sailing/rowing away. The lights were also separated in different sections (3 to be exact and other main different circuits/sections)

    • @pc_buildyb0i935
      @pc_buildyb0i935 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The lights themselves wouldn't have been going out due to power failure, but because the ship's engineers were trying to retain as much power as possible. So shutting down power to flooded areas made sense.
      For a time, there were survivor reports about lights blazing underwater - this is because parts of the exterior can flood lower than the water line and those same spots inside the ship may not have been fully flooded yet.
      Once the water in the ship reached the fixtures however, they'd have shorted out the lights, had the engineers not pulled power from those areas of the ship first.

      @@KiwiKiwf I half agree with you. when collapsible d was being lowered the forward a deck promenade was partially underwater, remember there was a port list. So probably the lights in the section that was partially submerged might have gone out. But there was no reason for all the lights in all of that promenade to go out since the starboard part wasn't underwater. Also, I'm curious in learning more about this theory. Could I have the names of the survivors who stated that the lights went out in that area? Also, you have to be sure to be careful of what year they say this, because memory is fallible, and they might have just remembered something wrong since many years had passed.
