Yes that is an amazing cover I remember when it came out. Now how about a three kid band that will also blow your mind they call themselves Hammerhedd and when your done hecking that out go see Owen Davey that kid has it all .

The drummer (Curtis Moss) is a huge TOOL fan and was actually the one that suggested they cover this song. And he f'ing killed it. He is a BEAST on that drum kit. I don't know if Danny Carey could have played it better himself. He also has a TH-cam channel and has posted as recently as 2 weeks ago. Just search Curtis Moss

Anyone else noticed just before the drum solo Curtis Moss was bouncing in his thinking "turn me loose turn me loose I'm ready😂"and then explodes in that drum solo.... Everything in this is perfect. I love Tool and think these kids actually played it better. Love the drums, percussion section, mix of piano with the guitars, and having a female voice just adds to the meaning of the song. And the bassist is the real rock star. Watch him use his hand on the opposite fret at 6:20. Badass move

I love it so much 💜🎶I still have the videos of my sons playing me clean from incubus on the djembe and so many more they had every instrument guitar,bass, & 7 string & pedals /Amps every percussion, drums keyboards ,horns, even a bagpipe it’s good for the soul start them young 😉all genres 🎶music is life 🎶💙💙there all grown up now and still play the music 🎶

The lead singer Kayla has had quite a storied career thus far. Please react to the 'Sober' Tool cover, where she returns to perform lead vocals once again, as a young lady quite a bit older than she was in this particular video. Simply astonishing, in my opinion!

A platform to prosper
OMF is a top notch environment for young musicians to play/perform and meet other like minded kids. I see my son is making friends instantaneously and bonding over playing/ music/gear. The Singer Kala Rose now sings for a band with I believe more kids from OMF. The band is Saving Escape. They have a few videos on TH-cam it is a garage rock/blues rock style.
As a musician of 45 yrs I have to say TOP SHELF, OUTSTANDING musicianship from all of these kids I have said this in all the videos of this cover just AMAZING!!!!!!

Kayla was such an awesome member of O'Keefes during her time with them. I've watched all of her stuff. Her voice is incredible from the early stuff with her on into today where she has her own band.

This was incredible. God's honest truth it brought me to tears how good this was. That drummer just had me standing there saying "Holey S&##^t look.at this guy" over and over. Just so.much talent.from.each and every one of them.

I only found this cover a few weeks ago myself and needless to say it's been my happy place, can't get enough!
They are so good right. Watched this years ago and was just beside myself with pride for the peice.
The singer is Kala Rose. She is now 21 and has a band called Saving Escape. She has a FB page, as well as the band. She also has a YT page but I don't think she's posted anything there in awhile. O'keefe has a bunch of videos with her singing at various ages up until she aged out of the program at 18 or 19. She's done Florence and The Machine, Dream Theater, 3 Tool songs and Black Label Society, which was her swansong video with them. Several of her band mates are fellow OMF alums. If you choose to look for her other videos, she does Tool's Sober and The Pot; version 2. The school shot 5 different versions of that song with different performers and different arrangements.

You should check the singer, Kala Scarpinski, she did many great covers through O'Keefe Foundation. She did Sober and The Pot cover also in her late teens. She is currently in the rock band Saving Escape. Her artistic name is now Kala Rose. I think she is amazing talent, hope she will make it big!

It’s hilarious, I watch your Tool reactions all the time, and just by chance today I wanted to watch reactions to the O’Keefe thing, and watched like 3 of them today that were a year old, and then I get a notification my 2nd favorite Tool reactor is watching it! Lol. I’m sure no one cares (like hearing another persons dream they had last night or something. Not interested) but hey, I’m feeling chatty so fuck it.
