Do you have any detailed information about this recording? Who recorded it? Where was it recorded? Was it recorded at the Ranch when the film "Manson" was being made?

It makes sense. More sense than the DA's theory. I think all of the theories out there have merit. It's quite possible that the killings were done to free Bobby, as well as retaliation for the drug burn AND to send a message to the piggies.
i really do not know why people can't see that Manson's story had been blown out of probation so wildly that any simple answer wouldn't fit in anymore, but I believe it is all so simple (from con man's perspective as Manson) Manson knew his time as a free man was over after shooting Lotsapoppa and just wanted to go down with a bang and take everybody with him, even further down than where he would land, he played it so well, so everyone in the family would hit harder and louder than he would... Yeah, No Helter Skelter, No drug's burn, no copycat's murder, no retaliation over Melcher's lies..etc, just as he had told Watkins "When I hit the joint you will take my place and my power", and as Susan Atkins swears that the "killing" of Lotsapoppa was always discredited as the reason behind it all, and was never really weighted as it should at Manson's story.

@@christinagibson1882 Its good to hear that people are using his legacy [so to speak] not to do harm, but to further his ATWA vision. He's the reason I moved from NY to the desert. Not because he wanted, or told me to - but hearing his stories and the places he visited during his brief time there.

It was recorded some time around 74. In Tecopa by Paul Crockett.
