Geeta Dutt my favourite Singer. My open Mic singing started with her Song which bagged me 1st Prize.." Tadbeer se bigdi hui taqdeer bana le". My confident level increased, I started sing in stage Shows. Ameen.
Had she persuaded O P Nayyar directly or had some producer recommended O P Nayyar to resume his derailed inning afresh all this could have been a miracal. And the forthcoming conflict followed by departure of Asha Bhosle could have helped O P Nayyar in avoiding the disasttous stage he had to face after exit of Asha in his decling graph as composer but Alas. My comment gets support from the extract of one interview of O P Nayyar in which he said "I have done injustice to Geeta Dutt and I repent for this.

It is a common practice in WB that variety entertainments are arranged in these pandals mostly at night after the completion of the puja rituals, local talents/ famous celebritities performing with/without payments ( depending on individual budgets).
How does this demean anyone, being part of the biggest annual event of the state?

The video has brought tears in my eyes. The relation between husband and wife should be purely understanding and not the external marital affair. It is because of misunderstanding & restrictions imposed on each other either one or both go under depression which is very common in the film industry and the same should not happen. Thus my heartfelt condolences for both departed souls.

Unscrupulous Guru Dutt made this lady producer of a flop film made by him "Sailab" .This forced her to declare herself insolvent and could not sign any contract. This forced her out of singing and forced her to sing in private concerts for few rupees to maintain her three kids as her husband had deserted them and had no financial support from him.
Geetaji is my favourite singer since my childhood. All songs are uplifted hit songs specially club songs. But one wicked woman ruin her life and that woman is still alive in lime light in Bollywood. Guru Dutt used her voice and Geetaji had big heart she sang for that witch actress. Everyday still I play geetaji’s songs she cheers me up. Miss her so much.
