So glad you liked the card. I actually did not emboss the sky. It is scrapbook paper, and that’s the way it came. You received some great cards!! So fun!!!!!
You nailed the technique, pressed the leaf from my yard (think it might be a grape leaf) into a foam block and stamped it over and over on the gelli plate inked and brayered with distress oxide (my new favorite technique) for the bottom. Colorful leaf was several colors of distress oxide directly on to the foam block and direct to white paper, edged in brown... Meshuggah - from Yiddish משוגע (meshuge, “crazy”), from Hebrew מְשׁוּגָּע (m'shugá, “crazy”), a form of שׁוּגַּע (shugá, “be driven mad”) and שִׁיגַּע (shigá, “drive mad”). First came into use in English around 1880. The vexus stamp was from a very old set of magnetics from Clearstamp. I'm getting ready to do an artistamp exchange and think I'll use that frame... I loved seeing all the different postcards and can't wait for the next exchange. Glad I found Messy Hands!
