I chose the Range Runner because of the 1 piece glass roof, and composite construction! Genius. Loved fitting the camper the way I want it and use it. Being only 5' 5" I was able to fit a bed across the back leaving almost 2/3 of the camper free space/ Love my Runaway! I color coded my keys/locks with paint sticks!! Great company to deal with too! I bought a plug in thermostat with a remote for ac, works great, saves a lot of power when running off batteries! Hope to run into you someday, have a great day!
I do love being able to lay any direction with the 6x8 camper. I guess I’ll have to look into a thermostat for the AC unit. Maybe we will cross paths soon! Glad you like it.
Nice. Would of liked to seen how you had the inside done up. I have been looking into the runaway and the Hiker trailers. Both are nice. Thanks for the video
How about get different bright colored bottles of nail polish, put a dot of each color on a key and each door, that way you look at the paint dot on whichever door, find matching colored key, there ya go 👍
Good honest review. If they had a 5' wide model I'd probably go this route, the 4' is too narrow IMO and the 6' too wide footprint vs my Jeep on tight trails.... Hiker is comparable except for wood construction but weight and cost wise pretty similar. So i'll probably go with a 5x9 since i'll be traveling months at a time and need room for storage. Also I have a few years on you so camper longevity is not as much a concern......😄
I'm interested to know, how tall are you? We have the range runner which is the same width as yours. My wife has been thinking of putting our bed width wise. I'm 5'10.
Lose the mirrored shades when making a video. Not being able to see a person's eye's makes me question the honesty of the person talking. Also, you repeated yourself constantly about the no rotting wood feature and the one piece roof. Don't try and stretch a video out by just repeating yourself.
Did I mention there is no wood to rot in the camper and the roof is ONE piece? That means virtually no leaks and the camper will last a very long time. Thank you for watching.
Door screen and a MaxxFan Deluxe option would be nice especially in Florida. Oh, and the 3 keys would drive me absolutely insane. P.s. Does that tongue box clear the A/C when lid is opened to 90 degrees?

Color code your keys and locks with vinyl or vinyl stickers. Simple solution works for us.
I like these types of trailers! It's a great option for camping😁
We love using this camper so much.
Thanks for bringing out the camper
You’re welcome.
Hey Kevin try color coding the keys so you know which one is which. It looks like a perfect camper for what you guys do.
Yeah, we've done that, but still. It's silly to have so many keys for the camper.
Great honest review!
Thank you!

Saturday the interior video comes out.

Yes, but still annoying with the amount of keys to have.
@@OverlandFlorida yes, they have the ability to key all doors alike, 👍
Very nice!
Thank you!
What part of NC did you buy? You came along way on your camper , looking good 👍😎
Western. Thank you!
I have a 2021 rouser that has a white ac unit and I don't have a remote either.
Really? Good to know.

I’ve been saying for years, they should make a 5x10. So much more useful room. The 6ft is really wide, but I’m used to it and it’s grown on me.
I wonder if that door sealing is due to body flex?
Train Jillian to adjust the A/C you're the king 😂
Well, technically there is no flex in the body. So it just a cheap door frame.
Good review. The door issue is a pretty big deal to me. Have you thought about replacing the doors with some type of upgraded door?
We haven’t looked into replacing them. Maybe one day when they don’t close properly we will find an alternate. But so far, it’s all in working order.
Great video, what generator do you use to run the ac when you are boondocking
I don’t use a generator.
@@OverlandFlorida so what DO you use? I think that was the point of the question.

It’s only 6ft wide. So it might seem pretty tight for you.
@OverlandFlorida Mind you, she's 5'0 on a less humid day.
What kind of fuel mileage towing at 70 mph?
It depends what you are driving and mods. But 14/15mpg at 70-73mph.
I emailed you thermostat info
Thank you.

The lid doesn’t open to 90°. But it’s not in the way either.
