- In this video, I give you a tour of my vinyl record collection. This part 1 includes my box sets, audiophile records, jazz records, and the bands/artists I have the most records of such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Zombies, Kiss, Bill Evans, and many more.

Wow your collection is awesome and well organized. Your Beatles collection is my favorite since they are my favorite band. You have lots of other great ones too like one of my favorite Alice Cooper albums Welcome To My Nightmare. Also love the Ozzy box set too. I’ll be watching part 2 when I can. Definitely! I was too young to be around for The Beatles but I also feel that the time I grew up in had superior music to what is out these days. We were right in that sweet spot for music. ♥️ Thank you and take care.
Melinda, that was a very peaceful video to watch! You have so many gems! You could take a year off from buying records and just enjoy what you have. I know it’s only part one of your collection. Can’t wait for the second one. I like how you have your collection organized. My collection is very crazy, there is no alphabetical organization going on, but each cube of records is filled a certain kind of music, like psych, jazz, experimental, new age, classic groups, but then certain artists take over. Zappa, Santana, Vangelis, Kitaro, etc. The way I have it makes me happy though.
As long as they are in the same category of music, you should be good. It also depends on how big your collection is. The bigger it is the more organized it needs to be. Thank you and take care. ♥️🤗

What an extensive collection, it is nice to see you take good care of them. It was interesting to hear how every record has a story. Music has always been a bookmark in life for me, many songs have a specific time or event I link them to, and it is so nostalgic.

Hi Melinda, Thanks for sharing. Very interesting and great collection. My favorite so far has to be the Dick Clark Radio shows. I have quite a few of them myself and they are a blast to listen too and brings back millions of memories

I loved how you organized your collection!! So atheistically pleasing to look at, especially the MoFis and what not. Speaking of MoFi, The Cars self titled came back in print recently and I snagged it up with the quickness! It’s the last one I needed to complete my Cars MoFi collection. So it’s on the way. Melinda, that’s a fabulous collection. Love the way you have the albums located. Oh for the space lol!! My albums are stored in Record Crates purchased from my local HMV Store. I visited my local Indy Record Store today. Purchased John Coltrane “Blue Train” and Chet Baker “My Funny Valentine”, both of which are on yellow vinyl!! I also purchased a new album for me at least by The Last Dinner Party “Prelude to Ecstasy”. The internet and You Tube have been full,of the group. I’ve listened to some of the album on TH-cam. Enjoyed what I heard so today purchased it, as I say, it’s a new direction from what I normally purchase and listen to.

A great collection Melinda and so well organized. Personally, I have over 400 albums and about 270 cd's. Like you I want everything alphabetical. Keep collecting and keep putting out those interesting videos.

Wonderful collection Melinda. My old vinyl collection was large but nothing of the quality of yours. I think I owned 50 or 60 MFSL not including the Beatles Box set that I purchased, but I also owned a bunch of records from Columbia House, RCA and BMG and none of them were particularly good quality pressings. I had stuff from the budget bins and second hand records. And my home never had such a lovely way to store it all as your beautiful home. You have a really nice system as well. I am pretty much into headphones exclusively these days though I do own a great big Emotiva power amplifier and DAC and a Marantz CD player after getting out of the vinyl. Enjoyed your tour very much and will look forward to the next part!

I've been waiting for this video! Awesome collection you have there, I remember a previous video when you had your records in drawers that rolled out and you could flip through them like at the record store! I have my Zappa, Hendrix, KISS, boxsets, jazz, soundtracks, various artists comps, non-music (comedy, train sounds, sound effect, radio dramas) in separate sections but other than that its all alphabetical. I can't wait to see part 2....I'm guessing that will be the rest from A-Z? Great video and take care!

Wonderful collection, enviable to be honest. I am just starting to build my own collection, but when I look at this dazzling collection, I know I still have a long and, above all, beautiful way to go. I notice that I have become very greedy and want as many records as possible right away. Now that they have also become more popular, the prices rise accordingly. So I will have to be patient.
You are on the truly fun stage of record collecting. The early days of record discovery are the best. ❤️ I have been seriously collecting records for over 7 years now so it has taken. A long time to build my collection. It just takes time. Enjoy every phase. Thank you and take care. ❤️🤗
Melinda Murphy this is amazing your records collections are massive the jazz collectors i loved so much like the thelonious monk records John Coltrane records and miles davis collections and i love the beatles collections and i didn't know you are a fan of sade i love sade music i got few of her albums on cds and cassettes her music is like relaxing beautiful music and also for valentine's day too. I got to say Melinda you got the same taste as i am because i got the beatles album a hard days night soundtrack on vinyl as well i love that album is a underaded beatles album i love the last track with a swing jazz feel of hard days night version. And i got miles davis birth of the cool album on cd twice the original version and the remastered version with the live concert tracks as well the early days of miles davis release i definitely got to get relaxing with miles davis album on vinyl and cd one again amazing collections of vinyls i be waiting for part 2 as well this is 2024 top vinyl collections video ever Melinda Murphy keep doing a great job i love this video having a blessed day
