Every song that this band has is wonderful! And Moryen has talent, looks, humility and kindness with fans and is very philosophical in interviews! He's the whole package!😊😊😊❤💕💕💕
Magne Furuholmen, keyboardist of A-HA talked about a-ha’s connection to The Everly Brothers in a 2010 interview: “Our manager Terry Slater had played bass for the Everly Brothers during the ’60s and was a close personal friend of Phil Everly. He also managed them during their comeback at the Royal Albert Hall in 1984 where we met the Everlys for the first time. Next Christmas they presented a-ha with three Everly Brothers guitars made from the same tree! Being huge Beatles fans, growing up and knowing how influential the Everly Brothers had been for the early Beatles’ sound, we thought that it would be a nice tribute to cover one of their hits.” In 1990 A-ha released a cover of Crying in the Rain made famous by the Everly Brothers Upon Phil Everly's passing, A-ha stated on their official website that: «I'll do my crying in the rain» - We were lucky enough in our lives to know Phil Everly a little, and we hope some of his dry humor and generosity have rubbed off on us all. His sweet voice will be sorely missed. - A big branch has fallen, but together, or apart, the Everly Brothers have contributed to music that continues to inspire and fascinate new generations of music lovers all over the world.
@@Cta2006 Also they did Soft Cells cover called "Say Hello, wave Goodbye" and Depeche Mode "A Question of Lust" and something More... But the only song that put in an a-ha album is "Crying in the Rain" , rest of them where live acts or radio sample versions.
Crying In The Rain Written By Carol King. She has written so many hits for various artists that it would take hours to play them all. There is a Fantastic video from when Carol was the honoree at the Kennedy Center Honors.... Aretha Franklin You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman Kennedy Center Honors 2015... The introduction is by the actress playing Carol King.
Thank you very much for your reactions 😊 I suggest some of my favorite songs like " angel in the snow " , " lifelines " , " memorial beach " , " the swing of things "... I could tell you many more, I love them all! 😅 I hope you enjoy and above all that you continue with this incredible band .
I grew up listening to a-ha (Morten-lead, Mags-keyboard, Pal-guitar) from their very first album, and they shaped me, they resonate with me to this day. Kindred spirits are a blessing on this Earth. Talent in music, pure artists in their craft from across the World. Timeless.
Totally agree with Kathy, the guitarwork in this is great. Wonderful cover of a great song. Morten is drop dead gorgeous, as always. When the band performed at American Bandstand in 1985, there was a girl from the audience who was ready to come with him to Norway.
@@UnhandyCandy280 Definitely. She probably put into words what several girls fantasized about. Some girls from England traveled to Norway and visited the house of Morten's parents. He was not at home, but they were invited in and served.
Hey ladies !!! Love the reaction. This was a great choice by Kari. The TV show this came from has some of the best a-ha live recordings. I know you've seen some of the others from it. I'd recommend a-ha's Move To Memphis (Mortens hair is amazing in this... one for Lulu !!! LOL) or Lifelines, a really clever time-lapse video. Of course great songs but good videos to both.
Gracias bellas🌹🌹🌹💕
Morten has such a fantastic and conveys such emotion. This is their only real cover - the other live songs on this NRK live studio session are ALL worth watching. Paul and Mags are ace musicians and song writers too. Try Train of Thought, Move to Memphis, Summer Moved On and Did Anyone Approach you (if you want to see just how well Morten aged - he was over 40 in this one + some very good keyboards and guitar!). ...🌹🕊
Sun always shines on TV is better do a review please I was 13 July 1985 this is October 1985 brings back memories probably in the top 3 of there songs I'm from Birmingham England also I think Kathy is sexy as😍 love her eyes
This is a nice cover but I prefer the original version by the Everly Brothers that was released in 1962. This song was written by Carole King and Harold Greenfield.
They are the best ! Musically legendary. Their catalogue is enormous and all of great quality throughout the decades

The only cover version a-ha ever produced. The Everly Brothers have them a guitar at one stage, so they repaid them with this. Legendary...
Actually they have also done another cover more recently of John Lennons #9 Dream th-cam.com/video/GLy5FV49O2o/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared

Manhattan Skyline is my favourite of Aha's songs. His vocals and the synth sounds in that song are superb.
This is a tearjerker. Y’all held up pretty well.

That might be true for the time. Things have changed, also in Norway.
many may have forgotten this band, but not their songs. 😊
"Hunting High and low"
My favorite song from this group is Take On Me

Ladies check out their song….Summer Moved On…..Morten holds a very long note in that one.
They have reacted to it 😃
He 8s the best 😊
DONNA a Big A-Ha Fan 😁👍
I can't find in your library any reaction to their break through song "take on me", that is one of the songs that defines the 80s
Hello Ladies!!! 🙋🏻♂️🥰❤🎵🎼🎶👏💯💯
Hey hey!
A-Ha é a maior e mais criativa banda desde os Beatles. E Morten Harket é o rosto e a voz mais bela da história da música pop.

Morten Harket is without one of the best singers.. Aha is a group that made it .. Paul and Magne is well as much part off the total
Sorry, * Morten !!!

Hello
The original by The Everly Brothers is so much better.
Totally agree!
Modern interpretation of a classic, nothing to dislike about it
I dont agree about that...this is the best of all
@@doommonger7784 totally agree with you.
The music is very beautiful. Great whatever the version
Amazing meaningful song
