Excellent production, as always. I Couldn't help but notice the logo for Wolverine Brass Co at 2:52 looks suspiciously similar to Warner Bros/ Warner Communications logo.
Good eye! Indeed, it's nearly identical. If the Internet is to be believed, that Warner Bros logo was created in 1972, so either it's an amazing coincidence or Warner appears to have copied from Wolverine.
@@commodorehistory Do you still have a com 64? Wow, where can I get one? it was called Red Storm Rising after the Tom Clancy novel, best computer game I have ever played. Game came with a keyboard overlay
Hi Matt, check out Nostalgia Nerd's video "The Great Commodore Brand Heist" for a glimpse into what has happened to the Commodore name and logo recently. As far as I'm concerned the company died in 1994. I have little interest in anything that has happened with the name since then.
one of the most iconic logos in my life for me

Love the narration. It sounds like it should be on the History Channel.
And I finally know the history of the iconic chickenlips logo!
Excellent. I still have my Commodore SX-64 in the original box. Complete with built-in five-inch monitor and a 1541 floppy drive. She's a beaut.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
You just opened a CommoDOOR.
Loved my commodore, Red Storm Rising was the best game, then and now
I never heard of it so I'll take your advice and check it out later today. Thanks!

@@GunSlinger221 of course I do! My last video was about an early silver label c64 I have. They are still abundant on eBay, but at a cost, of course.
Interesting. Thank you for this. Hopefully you'll do a history on the Amiga logo's next?
Good info! You could use a pop filter on your mic, though
Thanks Kron. The mic has a pop filter. I guess my pops are a bit much for it.
AKA the chickenhead logo.
It's chicken LIPS, not chickenhead.
This video feels incomplete, what's the status of the logo now? Is it public domain?
