We drove to TJ and then from TJ we took a 3.5 hour flight to Mexico City. It was great! Saw everything from green velvet to key4050 to Andrew Bauer b2b Ilan bluestone. It was an eye opener partying in a different country. Highly recommend it!

Funny thing when I went to EDCMX2018 I wasn’t used to everybody passed out by 7-9p lol in the US everybody is on uppers so people last. Mexico, was different cuz everybody just drank and drank a lot before it got to 10p. So they ain’t experience the whole show but I had my vitamins and did haha The crowd is sooooo different too, no shirtless entitled douchebags, no Asian trains being rude, there were vendors selling water and cup o noodles in between the crowds, it was mad welcoming. And the pricing for everything (if you’re American) was so comforting. Waters don’t cost $8 a pop. I’m Chicano, and it felt so nice hearing fellow Mexicans be the majority of the crowd lol as a Chicano I grew accustomed to my peoples loving corridos and cumbias or oldies and allat. But at the event, everybody was there for the techno and deadmau5 (the majority) but in general, to see many Mexican fans of whatever genre of electronic music was dope. Mexico City is a huge diverse city.
I have just found that the Fade Away With me (Key4050 Remix) played in this set does not have the vocal instrument kicking in at the drop. Usually there will be a sort of male's voice instrument at the drop. Interesting discovery.
