Hey adam, regarding your tweet about people being extra mean on youtube lately I think there are a few reasons. 1. This seams to happen to any big youtuber. you start off small and then suddenly your channel explodes in your case you had maybe less than 300k when I subbed last spring, now youre almost at 600k. People will hate on others just because they have success. Also I don't think the % of mean people has increased, there's just more in general due to this jump in views etc. And since we tend to notice the mean ones you will probably remember the 10 mean comments more than the hundreds of nice ones. #2 Change. Obviously I think your channel has changed alot in the last year (which I'm fine with) but some people dwell on the past and can't accept change. I think it's stupid because you are uploading way more now but you are also adding a lot of variety which those people may not like. They are forgetting that the amount of bmx content is roughly the same and like you said in your q&a there is MORE overall content on here. #3 this may sound harsh but there are a lot of very stupid/arrogant/ignorant people on the internet who will not accept that they are wrong. personally I rarely comment on youtube anymore because there is always that one guy who has to ruin the mood. and as i said he's the one we will remember. This bothers me the most on deep topics such as the David Metzger video where I saw some extremely out of place and disrespectful comments and also on a video from thatdudeinblue regarding one of his subscribers who passed away which made me quite angry when i saw those types of comments on there. plain and simple, they're attention seekers. they want attention and they don't care whether it's positive or negative as they get noticed. I know it's tough to ignore but odds are they aren't as successful and may not have the happiness they are looking for so this is their way of getting recognized. sorry for the long post I know you read all of these so I hope i didn't waste too much time. Just keep doing you're own thing, your followers will appreciate you for it.
