'77 GMC Motorhome Fantastic Vent Install

We recently removed a vent to install a new AC unit. The vent was a nice Fantastic Vent and I want to install it in place of an original vent in the front. The hole needed to be squared off but overall, it was an easy project.

Good idea on the wood frame. Certainly should eliminate any flexing and potential waterproofing cracks.

Nice job! What are the two white plastic gizmos in the roof forward of the new AC unit and forward of the fantastic fan?
Edit: I think I figured it out. Didn't some of these have the couch that converted to a bed and a bunk above suspended from the ceiling? I thought they were small led lights to provide a soft glow to the walking areas.

Yep, you called it! The couch turns into bunk beds and there are straps made of seatbelt material that hook into those mount points in the ceiling.

Did you get rid of the original fan? I would be interested in purchasing it.

Thanks for the question! I gave the fan to another GMC'r who wanted to use it. I try to preserve and save as much as possible.
