This was the guitar solo that made me want to learn how to play guitar. I was 8 years old when this song came out, and I had heard other guitar solos before, but this was the first one that I noticed. A perfect blend of technical ability and tasteful musicianship.
@@Minenangel Yes and no. There are tons of shredders that think that Kee is not very much that good. Pity that his hunger for melody is among the greatest, just like Vito Bratta from White Lion for example. Technique, but with a touch of melodic research. That's why you call these guys legends.
Slow it down to 0,5 and just marvel his mastery of vibrato. It's wide, intense, expressive and is always in time and in tune. He even adds vibrato to some shorter notes, which is almost unnoticeable at full speed, yet he never sounds like an angry bee.
i first listened to europe when i first started high-school , my oldest brother showed me them and they were and still are my favourite band, this guitar solo in my eyes is more than just a solo, its a work of art
I think the most beautiful solo of Kee together with "More than meets the eye" and of course "Girl From Lebanon". For me he was the best guitarist than Norum by far!
This solo has it all, its composed to work with the song so well and follows the chords brilliantly yet it flips up a gear into such awesome dynamics. I reckon one of the greatest solos ever recorded because the song would be average without it.
God, i love this guitar solo more than 20years?:D nothing is best, i think nothing cant overcome this part of guitar..:) same like in GNR Knockin on Heavens Door... this 2 songs is best guitar solos for me 4ever...:)
Norum is far better than Marcello. Norum has so much feel and is more loose. Norum understands music so much better than Marcello. Norum is more loose and can improvise but kee sticks to the music sheet, which isn’t nearly as fun.
@@Ilovekghimothy yeah, right: repetitive blues scales and predictable pentatonic stuff in every single solo, that's must be real fun! I love Norum, but one Michael Schenker is enough. We don't need another one. Same with Bonamassa...
Yes! Listening to a fantastic right can wash away the harsh poison of a terrible wrong. What also can help is listening to the lead guitar from 'Turn Up The Radio' by Autograph :)
Such a clean guitarist. One of the best.
Best solo ever.
Kee Marcello warming up in new documentary
No doubt about that, brother !
Slash november rain best solo
I thoght it was just me:-)
Kee is definitely a great guitarist .
But then many Europeans are ....like Slash, Eddie Van Halen ( RIP ) , John norum, ect ect
One of the best guitar solos I've ever heard

I was fourteen when I heard this solo and song, completly marvelous....and today I can play this solo 95% of speed maybe :)))

One of the most memorable hard rock solos, of all time! Lots of melody and pertinence. Kee rules!
One of the best solos ever !!...Kee is a very underrated guitarist.
Let's agree to disagree. To everyone of us who play the guitar, Kee is a Master to follow and learn from.

@@pizzafredda Well said!
Kee is champagne. Definitely not underrated and prefer him to John Norum. Norum is great too but Kee is more in the Yngwie stratosphere.
This an example of The beauty of melodious solo that is needed rather speed light shred❤

How it's possible that guitarist like him, solo like i'm are so underrated? God, this solo it's simply fantastic. And Kee Marcello it's a kick ass
Songwriting. Even when you are soloing it's about songwriting. That's what Kee is teaching to us.
This guy is fucking great! I really like his playing on Europe's 'Out Of This World' album.
So HIGHLY UNDERRATED...Much Respect
One of the best solo ever.
I miss the good old days where music was actually based upon talent
VideoMasher3000 Yes those were the good ole days. Now it's all about how ghetto you look and act. Pretty much the millennial generation standards
so long ago !!

Man i`m getting pumped just watching this grainy video, some musicianship is truly eternal.
The original is John norum
Nope, John Norum departed way before this song was recorded.
John Norum wrote solos like Cherokee but not superstitious and other Marcello Masterpieces! He was gone Long before those Songs were even writen
Lindo demais ouvir e ver este mestre das cordas tocar.Kee Marcello, monstro!
Ele é o cara
Um dos meus guitarristas preferidos kkkk só os brabos conhecem essa lenda!

My favorite solo of his. I like his live bumblebee solo too.
True masterpiece.
proof that you dont need your pinky to make those amazing fast runs. Kee is hero❤
This solo has it all, its composed to work with the song so well and follows the chords brilliantly yet it flips up a gear into such awesome dynamics. I reckon one of the greatest solos ever recorded because the song would be average without it.

@@eliasbatista6649 muito bonito mesmo, da balada Carrie pra min é um dos mais bonito, Devil Sings the Blues também é foda pra Caralho genial
@Scream4Rock It is a Gibson SG '90 with the optional tremolo.
The solo that makes me eargasm
Flawless...and damn beautiful.
For me, this solo is the perfect blend between melody and virtuosity. I'm trying hard myself to learn playing it.
@MrDunkJunk - the Les Paul Axcess Standard has a Floyd on it...so does the PlusTop Pro....and the Florentine has a Bigsby...
Kee marceloo 最高
Are you the real kee marcello
Ke Marcello grande e inmortal!!!
@MrDunkJunk No, it's a Gibson SG 90 double ! with floyd rose type tremolo.
I LOVE THIS!!! I analyzed all the notes he played. each note has strong meaning.
Great, I want to learn it on guitar 😃🎸
I will forever hate that run its so difficult! Cracking solo =)

Fantástico
That is what music is all about
Grand kee marcello genio
Solo maravilhoso
How can anyone dislike this solo? What the hell is wrong with the fucked up people...
Kee Marcello was way more than a replacement for Norum...
Norum is far better than Marcello. Norum has so much feel and is more loose. Norum understands music so much better than Marcello. Norum is more loose and can improvise but kee sticks to the music sheet, which isn’t nearly as fun.

Kee Marcello is still no. 1
