Nice.....very.... Espectacular !!! Así se anda!!!!!
any tips on what skates to choose as a beginner? also curious to know how long did it take for you to learn how to skate like this? you are amazing and I would like to be at this level someday 😭💚
Thanks so much!!
Ideally you can go in store to try on, when it comes to urban skates it can be very hard to find a good fit.
You should be getting urban skates / freeskates from a reputable brand like FR (I skate FR1), rollerblade, flying eagle, powerslide, seba, etc.
In addition to size you need to pay attention to width - some are narrow, wide, mid
Unfortunately it’s common to go through several pairs before finding a good fit. If it’s your first pair, it’s better to end up with something too big than too small.
If you have to order online, make sure the store has a good return policy, and if you can - order multiple models / sizes and return what doesn’t fit. Measure your feet mondpoints and look at brands’ size guides carefully
I’ve been skating (hockey, in-line) pretty much my whole life, but have been doing urban skating for the past few years
@@buzzkillblade Aw this is great advice thanks! I bought a secondhand pair last year but have recently noticed my right foot has been giving me hell. I think the blade has been squishing the crap out of my pinky toe and side of my foot. Possibly done some damage idk. Might have to find something wider! 😅
And if you are somewhat ambitious and not too clumsy then don't buy dedicated beginner skates because after the first days they'll hold you back and you want a better pair. Also i would not go for a softboot first because they might be more comfortable but don't give you much confidence when still learning to balance. This was at least my experience.
youre awesome! im an ice skater and you convinced me buy my first pair of rollerblades (FR3s) and i love them, was doing crossovers on my third session with more confidence than i do on the ice and on my weak side perfectly !
gotta ask, are you rockered or flat? im assuming considering the speeds you hit youre flat?
How do you master sprint crossovers?
If you haven’t already, look up underpush crossover tutorials and double push.
Also, ngl hockey experience helps a tonnn
@@buzzkillblade Thanks, I've never played hockey, I just picked up blading back in July. Trying to master backwards skating and crossovers
Loving the videos!!! Where are you located? Looks like fun areas to skate! Cheers!
Thanks so much! In a smaller city near Toronto 🇨🇦
sick!
