I gotta say, when I first saw his face, I judged him and thought he was another kpop star w average voice. When I finally listened to him, I was immediately shocked and hooked. That was 4 years ago and today he’s still my favorite singer. Many vocal coaches agree that he is one of the best, if not the best, male singer out there.
His concerts are an experience like no other. You actually feel a sense of loss for weeks after it is over. I have flown all around the world to experience his concerts and I don't ever plan to stop doing so. Like you, Dimash sings to my sou!

He sings in 14 languages so far….. he can fit his voice to suit different styles, from opera, folk, pop, rock, ballads and even rap. Every song is a new surprise, taking you on a journey, singing from his heart and soul to yours. Amazing. After this performance aired back in 2017, a friend of Lara saw it and called her, telling her she just had to check this out. Lara was so impressed by Dimash that she called him to congratulate him. A couple of years later, Dimash was delighted to actually sing with Lara on the same stage in a trio with also Aida Garifullina, in a song by Igor Krutoy, Ti Amo Cosi. There is a music video for Dimash called " Rivers of Love". Dimash plays the Dombra, a traditional Kazakh instrument that has only two strings. The song is so so beautiful and it shows Dimashs' expertise on this instrument. Dimash does not sing in this song, but the beauty of the music is worth listening to even without his vocals. YES, exactly this - he snatches your soul and takes you on a journey EVERY. TIME. And it NEVER GOES AWAY - even when you hear the EXACT SAME song and video over & over again... it never goes away or gets old! And its impossible to be a "casual listener", because of this. Such a beautiful person & singer, and such a versatile and HUGE musical talent such as this only comes around every 500 years or so; it's quite rare! So we are very blessed to be able to see & hear him in our lifetimes, I truly believe this.

What a beautiful response. There is no one like Dimash who can rephrase the lyrics in such a way that u understand exactly what the song is about immediately. His connection to the emotions is always amazing and it enables him to bring all of that into his own rendition. He does this time and again even when he is performing one of his own songs.

( they have Changed that rule now) all participants were established, proffessional well known chinese singers. Dimash was the youngest and only non Chinese. This is my second time watching your reaction to this song because I feel you are a kindred soul to my feelings for when Dimash sings. You mentioned guitarists playing this song. There is a music video for Dimash called " Rivers of Love". Dimash plays the Dombra, a traditional Kazakh instrument that has only two strings. The song is so so beautiful and it shows Dimashs' expertise on this instrument. Dimash does not sing in this song, but the beauty of the music is worth listening to even without his vocals.
