th-cam.com/video/w6paGhpW23M/w-d-xo.html My newest combo video (Kunimitsu) posted on my new channel. Please go there and subscribe! I will be moving this and other content to the new channel and removing it from this channel.
@IJTRedOne The "~" means a slight pause Think of it as a "delayed input" like in SoulCalibur, most characters can delay some of their moves (Law, Baek prime examples) but the command list usually don't tell you when you can delay a move (as far as I know) So you'll just have to see which moves can be delayed or not Delay can be useful against people who try to use a "Turtle then Counter Attact" gameplan Like my brother :P
@BILLYJOEGAGO N means neutral, as in don't move the control stick. Characters with (what I call) a "Shroyuken" input have N but you just basically just input like you would with a shroyuken, Forward;Down;Down-Forward + button Trust me it gets easier when you practice; That N stuff used to stump me back in Tekken 2 :D
Juggling is something that has always been in Tekken, except they added bounding in Tekken 6 to make them slightly longer. You pretty much don't like Tekken if you don't like juggling.
@IrNOobI d/b = down back. In other words, down+back on your d-pad/joystick..... Anytime you see f, d, u, b... it's simply an abbreviation for a directional input. f = forward, d= down, u= up, b= back.
@RaedVS I got a few requests to upload this on my channel. If you notice, the video is uploaded on Machinima Respawn's channel, and not mine - until now, of course. I'll be doing that for all my videos from now on.
@byakokoko Hey btw : d/b+2, 3 can be used as an ender too .. It floors the enemy close to you that he has no chance getting away from your next attack (Is that what you call "Okizeme"?) ...
@RaedVS @f9seekers It is a reupload to his channel I think. The video was first uploaded to Machinima Respawn. I don't think Namco is dumb enough to do something that would hurt the popularity and sales of their own game. These tutorial videos can really draw a few people in.
Juggles are interesting but somehow it seems difficult sometimes. I can understand this is something people hate but that's the thing in Tekken. If you get caught, you're in trouble. It's all about precision and sturdiness and once you get your guard down you'll be punished. Tekken is more situational
@matthewwilliard I can, and I will. I'll be starting with the characters I'm most familiar with, however^^; I actually have all of Lee's juggles (no walls) recorded, but I'm working on something a little different for the video.
Where did you learn how to juggle? Are there videos on how to juggle with other characters? Could you expound further on the jargon and terminology like the 3 stages of juggling you mentioned.
Reading and trying to remember the combo button in Tekken almost like when you try to crack an unbreakable code. I've been play Tekken for years and still no luck on the combo.
AFAIK no one cries about comboing in SF and Mortal Kombat. No serious player anyway. Juggling is Tekken's version of comboing and 'Linking' or whatever it is (DK, I don't play SF). When you spend a little time, you realize all of those launchers you get can be avoided. Don't fall to name-calling, thank you.
Thank you byakokoko for this video. You just gave me the secret technique to kill eddies, christies, and laws easily... low parry juggles. God, why didn't I think of that before lol. Thank you
@Uppercuts718 I mention f+3~3 as an ender for its oki potential in the juggle enders section of the video. I'll be going over his okizeme in another video.
it's funny how you call something 'easy' and yet it takes me hours on end to perform it once ;p, let alone consistently xd. Man, most people i know back the frick away once they see a longer combo being performed, hard ass hell to get into the fighting genre
i want to learn how to play tekken at a decent level so i can take it to a competitive level but i need a fully great detail of a guide, i've tried tekken zaibatsu but i just don't understand the crap they're talking about
tekken 6 came out years ago and they've since released 4 other games. this doesn't get updates anymore and ive never heard of a fighting game that would make updates that take combos away from characters. might make them do less damage, but not change the moves in them
ewgf? press Forward, release all buttons for a split second Press down and keep holding it press forward+triangle at the same time for the PEWGF or you can prolong the dash for EWGF version hope i helped
Sup man, I hope that the f+3,3 in this vid being useless is only pertaining to the combos not at a wall making this true. Because the oki, reset potential at walls from grounded opponents are great... I like what you doing anyways. Just hate that its so late.
You lack the skill to do it? Is that it? My opinion on bounds is that it adds another margin for error during a combo. In other words, there is a greater chance to drop a combo in T6, than say... Tekken 4, or any Tekken before it. This can ultimately lead to a player dropping a combo during a clutch situation in a tournament setting. And it happens - often. And nobody cares for your opinion, scrub.
... are you really that stupid? f = front/forward , u=up b=back/backward , db= down+back, df- down/front .. just common sense.. need to explain 1234 ? 1= triangle ect
Hi Dear ! i have seen ur videos of tekken 6 (combos, juggles etc etc) i just bought a PS3, and playing tekken 6 these days. in practise mode, there are 7 sample combos of each charater in tekken 6 BR, PLEASE tell me how to perform devil jin sample combo 7? =Devil Jin= sample combo 7 ???
Wait what? Did you get pwned while staying down and eating Jin's ground hitting punch? HAHAHAHA. Learn to get up. Do you help your enemy get up in a real fight?
Juggles are stupid. You get knocked in the air once, and you're stuck sitting there, doing nothing, taking the hits, all because none of the game-creators thought it'd be a good idea to add a combo-breaker (or juggle-breaker in this case), or some way to correct yourself while in the air. It's boring, and stupid. Especially ridiculous for people that are newer to the game that has almost no hope of avoiding it. I understand, that Tekken is based around the combo system.. but so is Killer Instinct. The difference is KI has Combo breakers to get out of a stupid combo. Making it less frustrating and annoying. I don't mind NORMAL combos and stuff, but juggling is just stupid. It wouldn't even be so bad if you couldn't get stuck in a juggle from laying on the ground. Like half the time, I don't even have a CHANCE to stand up. I get knocked down once, and they start into a juggle before I can even roll out of the way. I can't even hope to play with other people unless I plan to learn how to juggle myself, which I shouldn't have to do, because it's a cheap way to win. "Let's knock them down once, and not let them stand up." Sure, it's a way to win, but it's a cheap and unfair way to win. Not giving the other player a chance to even take 2 steps. I'm the kind of player that if I see someone having issues, I'll let them back up and give them a chance. I don't have fun when a fight is stupidly one sided, especially because of ridiculous stuff like juggling. Whoever thought making a combo system, that's impossible to get out of, was a good idea, needs to be fired. Games are never fun when you take away the controls from the player. And in this case, getting juggled takes away all control from the player that's getting juggled, leaving him to just watch as he loses all his health. There's not even a point in playing with other players unless you plan to learn how to juggle too. And by then, it just turns into "Who ever can juggle first, wins."
Although the bound system really is somewhat dumb, you still have to land your launchers and you still need 2 to 3 if not more juggles to win a round. Don't go saying "you can break stuff in KI, but Tekken sucks, because you can't do nothing about it", because that's not true. You can. Don't get hit by a launcher. I've seen far longer comboes in KI and other games than in Tekken. In KI you get a chance to escape if you f up and get caught, in Tekken you don't, that's the difference, so you have to learn not get caught. Don't play it as if it were KI. See, in Tekken you can't just confirm long combos off a normal hit like in other fighters (UMvC3 (have you seen juggles in this one?), KoF, SF etc.), because almost every string you make on the ground can be blocked after the second or third hit and leaves you vulnerable. Launchers and Counterhits are the only safe way, but most of them are punishable if blocked. In other games you fish for any single hit and can almost always convert it into a full combo, here you only fish for launchers. Also, very few characters in Tekken can even cancel a hit into something safe. No punch into shoryuken, or punch into fireball or something. This game is about outsmarting your opponent to get a launcher to guarantee a combo, at least most of the time. You can also just poke away at them and block and when it comes to standing up: safest way to get up is still just pressing up and blocking. Rolls are not invincible, in fact, there are no invincible moves. "Whoever can juggle first, wins" is also not true. There is still the rage mechanic where you deal insane amounts of damage, when you have low health and you can still outsmart the other player. I personally do prefer Tekken 5, without the bound system and rage stuff, just simple, short combos, but you can still juggle. Point is: don't go hating on a game you don't seem to understand and don't try to play it like it was something else.
Tekken is a punishing game to players,u mess up and prepare to say goodbye to your health bar, that's why a Tekken player needs to be very solid and new or casual players fail to understand this and gets rekt online or offline against a good player so this makes them shy away from the game. You cant be bad and expect to win, thats Tekken for you.
Tekken is a vast game,if you think its just a game about pressing buttons then just quit cos u are not getting far,it requires fundamentals such as backdash cancels, sidestep knowledge, spacing and whiff punishing, throw breaking and even advanced techniques like frame knowledge, block punishing, okis and setups.
Tekken Zaibatsu Sandakan I like when a game has moves and tactics to learn. I just think "juggling" specifically is stupid, and one of the worst things you could add to a fighting game. Or more specifically, anything that can take control away from a player for extended periods of time.

You have to input command right after previous (ex. 4~3 - You have to input 4 and then very fast 3.) Sorry for my language mistakes ;)

3:32 why is the 1 jab after ewhf here tends to whiff when I do it? Is it something to do with timing?
Same here. I only landed it once my entire life and I have no idea how I did it. I’m going to assume it’s just frame. In other words... be fast af.

what does okizeme mean?
Okizeme is the fighting game term for pressuring the opponent immediately after they get up from the ground.

Neutral.
~/Tilde - Immediately
☆/N - Neutral - "Don't do anything for a split second."
what is "N" do?
neutral meaning briefly press nothing to let your character recover to their original stance before inputting another command
You lack the skill to do it? Is that it? My opinion on bounds is that it adds another margin for error during a combo. In other words, there is a greater chance to drop a combo in T6, than say... 100 true in most fighting games. MK9 has the combo breaker I'm sick of the juggle in fighting games.
