Just saw the demo of the new DA. It was so disappointing that they dumbed it down and made it an ARPG. Not sure why they chose that path. It might still be fun but I was looking for a CRPG like DA Origins. 😥
I haven’t seen the demo yet, trying to stay spoiler free until I finish DAI. My hope is that it’s closer to a hybrid if that’s the case, maybe similar to DA2 or Inquisition. I loved DAO, and I miss how complete the combat felt, even if a tad slow at times. I do enjoy ARPGs as well, so I’m not too fussed about which way they lean towards in style, as long as it feels good to play. I have big hopes! But also trying to temper my expectations
