@@jasminjelovac9416 yo, thanks man. Appreciate that. Yea, the d2 community mostly just like regular meta, magic finding, and ssf hardcore runs. But its cool, people that subscribe are that much more into it then.
@@deaDParrot88 hey dude, yea i can do that soon. i have another build video and tune that i will release in a day or two. Just need to edit some things together and finish up some stuff.
My man! Excellent! Awesome music too, you’re editing and content is very well done. Keep it up bro! FYI, I run a Tri-element Sorc too (full tals) and she rips (tons of MF too) with her A5 Frenzy Barb (Plague/Grief). The holy grail would be Phoenix, Death’s Fathom, Griffons, and a lovely Ormus (Lightning). Everything faceted as needed. If you’d like to work together to keep playing around with different Tri-element (or quad-element) builds, I’d be happy to collaborate. Thanks for the great video!
Dude I got so excited just reading the title of this. I don't use sunders because I only play off meta stuff SSF HC. So if I even beat Baal on hell I usually retire the character. I know the gear on here is much better than SSF but anything nog requiring a sunder is great entertainment for me
@@NickIvanov88 i like characters that have a way to deal with just about everything in the game. I think for SSF you could do this with just your basic stealth, dual spirit, lore, and a few lucky finds for you and the merc. Then grab a lower resist wand from a vendor. Should work good enough for a skilled player
@@off-meta-michael oh yea for sure. Your optimizing the off meta but it still doesn't mean it's not doable SSF. I do alot of my own and also take inspiration from you and other cool creators. As long as I don't require a sunder I give it a go.
He does a decent job of not spamming static on enemies who have reached their static limit. Gearing up this merc has been pne of my favorite merc setups i think ever. I also used the same on ladder season 6 for my physical claws assassin.
@@off-meta-michaelI was thinking he cast static better with new enemies wen teleporting verses walking to target. Sorry my lit is bad. I love the new act 3 merc's my self. Good to know there ai is fair.
@@Morninglightwga the dual dream would actually make him less effective unless you have a six faceted sword and four socketed armor all with perfect lightning facets. He would lose 90 FCR though by doing this. The static would still be effective though and each time you teleport he would immediately use one of his skills, so you can kind of artificially make up for the lack of cast speed that way. The confuse when struck from Dream is also super underrated and very useful. The setup i have here is as good as it gets realistically though. Because you are at the max frames for cast speed while also getting skills on the helm, armor, and shield. the -35 light res on the sword is very necessary because even static works better with it. If you had conviction and lower res though like on a self wield infinity necromancer then a spirit sword on the merc would just as good if not stronger in many situations for the additional 2 skills.
@@off-meta-michael Oh I agree with you! A fun tri-elemental concept would be Merc 2x HOJ and Dragon. Sorc Dual Dream for that huge pulse damage, and Orb. Have you ever tried implementing a Metalgrid iron golem? If you or your merc has flickering flame and a source of battle orders, you can make it very survivable. All Expensive but very Off Meta!
@@Morninglightwga that's what i did in the video. barb uses two beast. iron golem is an eth legend sword lawbringer. on my monk necro i did use beast for Iron Golem though. ive made beast several times at this point so it wasn't much of a loss and made the build really good. the IG on that build is level 52 and does really well.
Awesome work as always! I've been trying to do a "tri-element" sorc myself. I wanted to go with an Infinity Nova sorc as the base and then use an act 5 Frenzy merc with dual Voice of Reason/Nightwings/Cold facet armor for the Frozen Orb procs. The idea would be to telestomp the monsters as usual with a Nova sorc so that the merc can get in his hits too. Good to know that Hydras work with just Fire Mastery and some negative enemy fire resist! Was going to try to use Fire Wall or Enchant for the fire portion but maybe Hydra is better! Btw I especially loved the first 40 seconds of the song, and the rest of course. Might be my favorite of yours so far :) The background music while you were talking was great as well.
@@Alexadria205 i had the same act 5 merc gear for a self wield infinity druid build i was working on, but never got around to showcasing. Your ide for sure would work because that conviction would amplify all the stuff you spec in quite well. Sounds good dude

i love working in the act 3 iron wolf into my builds. i have used this one and the fire one on several ever since they got their buff from the d2r dev team a couple years ago.
Whenever I see your video it makes me theorycraft of some silly variation. Like I was thinking of a tri-elemental sorceress/merc combo where you get forb from your act 2 rift merc. Then a combination of something like fire wall or hydra and static+nova from you.
@@off-meta-michael Yea I think the merc would need as much damage as possible because of its low life leech+ damage so a fort would be mandatory. Maybe also a life tap wand or marrowwalks in messy situations for the life tap charges lol.
Death's Fathom, even low % cold, would give you more FO damage than magic orb. If 30 % cold and socketed with 5/5 facet, would be very big difference - check the numbers in maxroll planner for the comparison with any orbs.
Found 1 deaths fathom a couple ladders ago or so. It rolled poorly, so I traded it. Havent found one since. I like blue items as well. i dont do hero edited builds on the channel. So this is the best i got.
@@off-meta-michael I thought you play online - if so, what about trade ingame / jsp / traderie etc? If not single game now, no problem to get any item.
@@jack7cat yea sure i guess i could, but i don't think having Death's Fathom would afford me any new possibilities. I understand a perf death's fathom would be strong for this, but i dont think i need it. Thanks for the info though dude
I mean I think this is how they played sorc in d2 classic era. But in there static has no limit so you run frozen orb/fireball and when you encounter immune to both then you static it down to 1 and finish with lightning/charged bolt
i know isn't that a thing of beauty? i can't do any better than this dps wise unless the griffons was perfect and had a perfect facet. oh and maybe a six socket sword with 6 perfect facets in it i guess as well.
hi there the only question i have ( the build its awesome) its why the monarch shield of the mercenary asks 146 str instead of the 156 str i got it. keep up the good work thank for you time
yea ethereal items have 10 less str and dex requirements. they cannot be repaired, but have a 50% increase to their base defense or damage. so using them on a merc means they wont lose durability. this is why an ethereal item with indestructible or repairs durability is quite valuable on your main character though.
Thanks to both of u i didint know that, i always asume it was more valuable the eth versions of ítems merely for the 50 % increase of the item ( armour or dmg) again thanks
Putting a oramus robe with +3 to charged bolt or lightening with decent - lightening resistance could help the merc more with a 4 socket shield w/4 ligtening facet jewels for 15-20 more - LR. Would like to know the damage on something like that 😮
The highest achievable FCR breakpoint is 86. The setup here gives him 90 FCR. So it's a tradeoff. I don't think you will have much more DPS by ditching most of your FCR and using lots of facets. You want him to cycle through quickly. The barrage of all 3 skills makes him more effective in my opinion. Also, youd lose all the defensive bonuses. No res or magic absorb or magic damage reduction on faceted gear.
NONE. you can easily switch out boots, gloves, rings, belt, amulet or whatever else though. I've rarely prioritized magic find actually in all my playing of d2r and look how many builds i have on the channel. all online, mostly play by myself, but did trade a lot on the ladders. funny though i found tal's armor with this build using 0% magic find.
