I remembered watching Yogi's Treasure Hunt back when I was a kid on CBBC, I wished they released Yogi's Treasure Hunt into complete DVD just like they did with the other Hanna-Barbera like Wacky Races, The Peril of Penelope Pitstop, Top Cat, Dick Dastardly and Muttley in their flying machine and Scooby Doo.
back in the 80's during the aerobics fad. Richard Simmons and such. It didn't work. Kids weren't getting up doing mousercise...they were just sitting there watching it...I know I was. lol
By the time this show was beginning to air I had already seen the first premiers of the wacky racers, penelope pitstop, dick and mutt in their flying machines, - but just starting high school I had lost interest in sat. morn. cartoons. Now looking back at this it seems to be very very strange.
Great work! Since "Yogi's Space Race" is designed to cash in on the popularity of "Star Wars", "Yogi's Treasure Hunt" is designed to cash in on the popularity of the "Indiana Jones" movies.
Yogi: Hey Kids! It's Yogi's Treasure Hunt! Chorus: Fun-Fun-Fun-Fuuunntastic! woo! Funtastic! Funtastic! Top Cat: Well, now you're gonna get a riddle, and gonna get a clue. Wow! Charlie Adler was in this? I don't remember any spainish speaking super cows in yogi's treasure hunt! It amazes me when I see his name pop up in quite old stuff because I always tend to associate him with Cow and chicken which was late nineties. But come to think of it I know he was doing voices in Bravestarr probably around the same time as he was doing this. You gotta admit... eighties to mid nineties were the golden age of after school/saturday cartoons. Never been the same since.
Not to mention his work at Sunbow/Marvel at the same time. In fact, with the exception of Chris Latta, all the voice actors at Sunbow/Marvel in the 80s also voice acted for Hanna-Barbera, including H-B legends Frank Welker, Don Messick, and John Stephenson. For instance, Charlie Adler voiced Silverbolt in the original Transformers series and Low-Light in G.I. Joe. And yes, that was the golden era of cartoons, though I think that rich era goes back to the 1970s. When Hanna-Barbera brought back the Super Friends in 1977 (along with other series they put out, such as the All-Star Laff-A-Lympics), combined with Filmation's own animated Batman revival that same year (which was why Adam West didn't voice Batman on the Super Friends until 1984, because H-B tried to get him to voice Batman on the Super Friends in 1977), the golden era of Saturday morning cartoons was effectively kicked off. Prior to that, Hanna-Barbera was pretty much the only animated company producing cartoons. But beginning in 1977 and lasting through the 80s and into the 90s, cartoons flooded the airwaves, both on Saturday mornings, and then in syndication in the 1980s, something that allowed for more original ideas for series because of the higher number of episodes each show got for a given season (up to 26 for weekend shows and up to 65 for weekday shows).
For Daws Butler and Arnoald Stang, this was their final series they did. Though they did voice their respected charcaters during the Hanna Barbera Superstars 10 made for tv movies.
@bobbybickert I believe so which was why he only reprised his roles for the SuperStars 10 films. I don't think Daws did another series and I was mistaken on Stag as he did return once more for the Bender Fender 500 segments for Wake Rattle and Roll. But otherwise he didn't do a regular series again as well.
@@stephenholloway6893 I watched the first episode of Yogi's Treasure Hunt on Boomerang this morning. Daws Butler was still in top form, especially considering how many characters he voiced in this series, even though I think he'd had a stroke at some point. (And I remembered that he was doing the 1980's revival of The Jetsons at the same time.) All of the other Hanna-Barbera regulars like Don Messick, Paul Winchell and John Stephenson were in top form as well, including John Stephenson taking over as Doggie Daggy, even though Doug Young lived into the 21st century. (Stephenson was still doing voicework for Hanna-Barbera in two episodes of What's New, Scooby Doo in the 21st century.) And Arnold Stang reprised his role of Top Cat in this series

Actually they should do season 1 of Yogi's Trasure Hunt 1st on DVD.
RW:Catchy tune and this is the reason why i love a All Star cast.😁
This, Laff-A-Lympics and Wacky Racers were amazing. Always looked forward to watching any of those.
I agree I loved these also including Top Cat and Help It's The Hairbear Bunch
This theme song sounds like a song that would have been released by Motown Records in the 80's.
I know man! Willie Hutch would have done this too!
HipHop was on the rise HB was trying to stay relevant lol
Why does the animation of this look smoother than most Hanna Barbera cartoons?
Outsourced animation.
I didn't know that future "Supermarket Sweep" host David Ruprecht was one of the voices on this show! WOW! It's been years since I've seen this show!
80s music theme of Yogi bear.........super awesome 😊🎶😊🎶😊🎶😊😊🎶😊🎶❤❤❤
This is Yogi's gang and Yogi's Space Race combined.
And Laff a lympics!
@@jackiegonzalez6814 with a touch of Top Cat and Dastardly And Muttley In Their Flying Machines and of course Popeye's Treasure Hunt in it!
These credits are from season 3 (1987-88), and though the ending H-B "CGI Swirling Star" logo is correct, the Taft byline is missing from it.

@Keonny77 I cat't believe that Kellyn, the host of Mousercise, died in 2009. She was only 51.
@@bobbybickert me neither what was the cause of death?
@@Keonny77 According to Wikipedia, she died of cancer.
If you ask me, the theme song is a lot like the song "Keep Feeling Fascination" by the Human League.

Were Dick Dastardly and Mutley the only bad guys on this show?
Exactly
Similar to Duchess RavenWaves and Hairball from Lady Lovely Locks (1987) which came out 2 years later after Yogi’s Treasure Hunt (1985)
WGNX in Atlanta Georgia before it became a CBS afflite showed this back in the day on Sunday morning
this will be sampled in a rap song.
That title couldn't have existed without this component show.
