the picture of the finished dress at the end doesn't stay on the screen very long. Had trouble trying to pause at that spot to actually see the finished dress. Very cute idea for kids too!!!!!

I've been watching your DYI's and as a beginner I've been wanting to ask, when sewing cotton (t-shirt) material, what size needle are you using? Everytime I try this I get a big hole or my needle/fabric is not moving. It's just stitching in the same spot.

I finally have the two XL t-shsirts and either the ones I have are not a women's XL as marked or the shirt in the video is a different sizing; maybe junior size? Just guessing but Im glad I tried it on before doing the elastic casing part because it hits me below the calf like a midi dress. Maybe the sizing is according to brand. Not all t-shirts are created equal. I like it but I have to figure out how to make the top part more fitted as it is huge even on me at 5'3" (150). I went back to look at the two shirts I have both marked XL, BUT ONE IS DEFINITELY SIZED INCORRECTLY, MUCH SMALLER at the sleeves/top.

You can always pause the video where she models the finished product. That's what I do.
