Interesting, that's partly what it reminded me of - his work on There Will Be Blood and The Master...perhaps Micachu listened to those examples first. His scores for those films are definitely some of my favourites, as are Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross' for Fincher's last couple of films. But yeah, the Under The Skin score was incredible...probably be getting it on vinyl.
I must say when scarlett bared all in the movie, i got that gut butterfly feeling.
I film of two halfs for me this one. I loved the first half but bot the second. I'm glad I watched it though. Overall a 7 out of 10

I love weird, eerie, and slightly "off" movies with odd imagery and new concepts of filming direction and this looks like it fits the bill perfectly!
Unfortunately no cinema close to me is showing it so it'll be a case of seeing it later on Blu-Ray. I'm sure the wait will be worth it.
I would say try and see this one in the cinema, but yeah the blu-ray will be great (I already pre-ordered it). Just make sure you turn it up and turn all the lights out, it's as much an aural experience as a visual one.
Definitely not going to be able to make it a cinema experience I'm afraid. But it is certainly a blu-ray must-have and I'll watch it in an environment as close to cinema as I can replicate at home...minus the occasional kicks to the back of my seat from someone sat behind of course. lol
Yes. A lot of great new releases on blu-ray but some I can wait a bit longer for. This is one to see again and again and if you haven't seen it, as soon as possible. Hope you enjoy it! Guessing it'll be out in the summer...my guess is July.
