I am not 100% sure. For injections of events that give you some item that allows to visit an event-exclusive area with a new Pokémon to catch, I'm fairly sure they'll be completely fine as long as they're not Mew. If the injection uploads the Pokémon to your party outright, I recommend you going to Bulbapedia and looking up the list of all event Pokémon released for Gen 3. If the Pokémon you get from the Mystery Gift injection matches any of the ones you see on the list, it'll almost definitely go through. If not, I can't guarantee you one way or the other.
It's called "Pokemon GEN 3 Mystery Gift Tool" and you can easily find it online. I'm not going to link it here directly, as my antivirus insists there is something up with the executable. As far as I know, it's a false positive, and all of the injected save files I got from it were perfectly fine, but better safe than sorry. If you want it for yourself, I'd advise you to tread lightly and take all safety precautions available. To be safe, I actually used the executable inside a Virtual Machine and just got the save files out of it. Alternatively, I heard there's also a Nintendo DS version if you have one that is compatible with Homebrew software. As far as I know, my computer hasn't blown up yet and the program is fully open source, if that is any reassurance.
I know it’s not legal in the USA version but if you injected it with a. Japanese cartridge, would you say this mew is real and legit and authentic? Or fake because you kinda hacked the wonder card in??
Honestly, I haven't even tried to see if the Bank would allow this Mew into Gen 6. For all I know, it would! I don't think its filter is THAT great. Anyway, regardless of what it's like in the US version, I see no reason why the Japanese version wouldn't be seen as completely legit through this method
Great vid!
