One of my foster children had never been to a supermarket and was not fed consistently up until age five when he was taken into care. Every week we looked through one of my many cooking books including a few kid focused ones I bought for him. He would choose a meal and I'd help him write a list of ingredients. Then the following day he was in charge of getting the ingredients which kept him occupied and behaved as he understandably had anger issues from his traumatic start in life. Then we would cook the meal on the weekend. He ended up trying so many different meals and develoled a love of food. I think you letting your daughter pick her dinner as a special occasion is the start to having a healthy relationship with the food she eats.
Lunchables are fun because it like a mini Lunch gift box and it's fun seeing all the different candies and food inside and theres so many different kinds too. It like a little Christmas gift that's how I feel when I eat it
