- Many of us reserved our KGL (Kashmir Great Lakes) trek a year in advance. We planned extensively, conducted thorough research, and prepared ourselves both mentally and physically. However, upon arriving in Srinagar a few days ago for our trek, we were met with continuous rain and unfortunate news about the weather and some serious incidents. As a result, we diverted to Naffran Valley instead. With limited information about this new trek, I’m hoping and praying for clear skies and sunshine over the next six days.
