  • Today on the show we get dive into the Gut Triad with my friends Katie, KatyBoat, and our enneagram expert, Dayo Ajanaku. The Gut Triad is made up of enneagram 8s, 9s, and 1s, so our guests each represent one of those numbers and are here to talk about their learnings and experiences when it comes to understanding the way those in the gut triad relate to themselves and others. Whether you identify as an 8, 9, or 1 OR there’s someone in your life in the Gut Triad, you’re going to love learning more about our friends and how they relate to the world.
We also have a free download for you that gives you a chance to process through some of the same questions we’re asking our experts and guests in this series. You can find that, as well as a list of other enneagram resources from all of our experts, at anniefdowns.co....

1 here - and what spoke to me the most was about discernment and desire for others to trust it. Good word by Katie that if it isn't trusted, I have not explained it well enough. Also, Dayo's comment about inner critic and Holy Spirit as well as critically felt comments are vulnerability and out of love. Continuing to make it feel like love though! Love love love ennasummer!

Oh man… after watching the last video I was starting to wonder if I could be a 6 but after this one, I am even more certain I’m a 1! This was so good! I think because I’m so critical of myself, it’s important for my husband to be kind when “criticizing” me. He’s an 8 so it can come off harsh for me but I’ve also learned that he means well. We’ve learned to have that balance because I can come off harsh as well and not realize it.

I’m an 8 and relate to being a “gut” type, but my “gut” is in my head, not in my body. I rarely physically feel anything in my body.
Even though my gut is in my head, I don’t relate to head types who “think” something. I don’t think, I know and I have that gut feeling of knowing before I’ve spent much time thinking about an issue.
