I really rock with the pickups and all the content, but do you have issues with overconsuming garments and such products? Just curious on your thoughts about building a wardrobe, having a large vs. small wardrobe, sustainable wardrobe, etc. There are so many pickup videos that I can't help but think you just have tons of stuff you probably don't end up wearing and just stay in the closet? I mean no disrespect either, just genuinely curious.
He’s a stylist so it’s kinda part of the job to have a large wardrobe that’s continuously rotating to fit different themes for different shoots. Also it seems he gets a lot of sponsored clothes, so honestly props to Ky for making his job work for him. I guess it’s a matter of what fits your lifestyle I guess.
@@morimentos I’m not sure what kind of stylists you know but it’s not the job of a stylist to use their own personal wardrobes for clients. Of course sometimes there might be a piece you own that works for a particular person, but it’s not common. I’m just more curious to know Kyron’s personal philosophy on consumption and stuff like that.

17:30 If I’m not mistaken DRKSHDW was originally created to be a denim line. Mainline has more delicate “lux” materials - silk, cashmere, etc, while DRKSHDW has more durable, daily wear materials - like denim and jersey.
yea most definitely that is the case but for some reason they had labeled these jeans under mainline rick and when i got them in the inside tags were DRKSHDW so that's what i was elaborating more on sorry if that wasn't expressed as clearly

I totally understand your angle but I personally disagree, with any of the designer goods I own I'd had them for years on end or if their time has passed they live easily on the 2nd hand market and on top of me doing styling and other jobs of a similar nature it makes plenty of sense for me to invest in the pieces that I do of course it might look absurd "on paper" when I title videos like this but at the end of the day it's entertainment I'm just trying to make enjoyable content for people to have fun with and escape a lil bit

I do not unfortunately because I wasn't really in the financial position to afford the stuff I really enjoyed back when demna was at the head of vetements that being said hopefully down the line I'll be able to circle back and find some of the pieces I've always admired on grailed // that was one of the main brands that thrived while I attended my time in my fashion program for college so it hold a special place to me
